We always pass this Seapoint Branch after a run, love their pastries and sandwiches. The breakfasts and quiche are also good saboteurs options if you’re not into decadent sweet treats! 🧁
I have a sweet tooth so I literally live on their chocolate eclairs, macaroons, mini cakes!

Never disappoints. No matter what sweet tooth you have, there's always something that will appeal. Today it was the chocolate brownie cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. The only problem is now I won't have an appetite for dinner. The cakes can easily be shared with two.

We popped in for a coffee and cake on a Saturday and found the convenience of parking outside the entrance most unusual but welcome. The restuarant has the option of allowing seating outdoor which is protected from the weather. Interior where we sat had large windows and in my opinion the furniture very neat but dated to my grandparents era. Assistance was great and the selection large, but both the choice's we made were increadibly rich. Most certainly presentation will have your mouth watering and wanting a portion of everything. Price average to high and no other customers present during our visit.

Delightful staff and fresh peoducts. Much much better than the Cape Gate branch. Card machine facilities are not portable though so you will need to go and pay at the till. Decent and large bathrooms

Chai latte amazing and the cake 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 chocolate goodness 🤤. Friendly staff very attentive and helpful with the menu knowledge. Great ambience for a quiet morning and enjoy some coffee and cake.

I had the Bakers Breakfast (R89) at their Somerset Road location in Cape Town, and it was excellent. The under-counter cakes and other goodies looked amazing, too. But what was even more impressive was the staff's friendliness. I would go back for that alone.

The store is VERY small, you can't even look properly. The staff isn't friendly and are impatient, especially as a first time visitor. The baked goods are decently prized but are too sweet. It's very busy. Not sure I'd return.

Probably my least favourite bakery. We special ordered a large quantity of cakes for a massive company celebration from 3 bakeries across the city. One was a caramel vanilla type cake and the other a chocolate cake. <br/><br/>If you’re a fan of fresh cream gateaux like cakes - then this is right up your alley. But I’m not.. so it turned out to be my least favourite cakes of the lot.

All i can say is yum! Seeing those desserts lined up really was so tempting! I chose 2 macaroon flavours, chocolate and blueberry. Both were bold in flavour but not overly sweet. Service was fast and they were helpful with our decision making.<br/>My friend chose the Florentine which she loves!

We were looking for a place to have a quick lunch, and we came across Limnos. I have to say, I would not recommend this restaurant for lunch. <br/><br/>I had a salad, it wasn’t fresh and didn’t have any taste.<br/>The sandwiches were very average. <br/><br/>The waiters are very polite.<br/><br/>This restaurant should probably always be considered for breakfast as the deserts/bakes looked tasty.

Went there for breakfast. I thought they could've seated us more quickly, we had to walk up to the waiter and ask for a seat. I had a Brazilian nut latte and it was really nice, very sweet. Breakfast was poached eggs and toast. Nothing out the ordinary. The decor is very nice and the desserts looked amazing

I am a huge fan of the classic petite fours so was over the moon when stumbling upon this deli. So many decadent delights on show. We had walked the CBD flat and were ready for a sugar rush! Sadly the beautifully presented cakes weren't as tasty as they looked. The Danish pastries had been standing a little to long, however the Gateaux cakes and Fancies were divine! The service was painfully slow but being on holiday and in a cool safe haven from the heat we made the best of it.

I've been coming to Limnos for ages, but this was my first time trying this branch.<br/><br/>I can't say i was impressed. I had a slice of Red Velvet cake (one of my favourites) but it wasn't the freshest cake I've eaten and just did not satisfy the craving I had been carrying. I will not be coming here again, unless for maybe a coffee, instead I will keep loyal to my new love, The Velvet cake co.

Went to Limnos to grab some take-away for breakfast. I ordered the chicken mayo and parsley croissant, and we got a few of the sweet pastries on display. The chicken mayo croissant was great, wonderfully toasted and full of CM filling. The sweet stuff was just as good. If possible I would have loved to try everything on display, as what we did take home with us was all delicious! Please open a branch in JHB :-)

Iv never been a fan of limnos cakes. Theyve always tasted bland to me. So it wasn't a surprise when the waitress told us the cakes and tarts are on display for up to 4 days at a time ! Tried something different today though and i very much liked it. Its a chocolate fabalova (something like that) and it tasted so great. I took 2 pictures to show rather than tell.

Service leaves a lot to be desired, otherwise alright. Rather average but the food most certainly isn't bad. Work in the area and go often enough for a coffee and they keep it flowing.

We used to visit this Limnos pretty regularly when I still worked in town (it was in the same building as our company, which made it very convenient for off-site meetings). Not the most amazing quality in the world, but its convenience made it worth it. My favourite part was always the desserts in the plastic cups, and the cute little boxes they would be packaged in - great for a last minute work treat.

I hate giving a low rating to such a beautiful restaurant. The service we received was friendly but the food I ordered was terrible.<br/>Perhaps I shouldn't have gone to Limnos "Baker's" for a SALAD, but the salad I got looked so sad :( With old tomato, brown lettuce and two pieces of bacon, I asked for no crutons and practically got half a loaf of toasted rye bread in the take away box?!?!?!<br/><br/>Such little effort was put in for something I could make better.

The food was really good thoroughly enjoyed it. The only negative is that the service was bit slow and had to wait for small things. Other than that I'll recommend them.
