We dropped in for brunch, delightful green juice and nice smoothie. We had the divine salmon omelette & poached eggs with avocado on sourdough toast, all cooked to perfection. Would definitely revisit and highly recommend others to try.

I liked the interior and nice and kind staffs.
Me and my friend ordered ‘2 scrambled eggs with avocado and toast’ and ‘cheese and tomato signature toasted sandwich’.
We liked the foods very much and hot latte and cappuccino were awesome.
The only thing we didn’t like is the staff who wants to clean everything away even the dishes we didn’t finished yet.
The cup we had water was gone when I looked for. And even the staff grabbed my coffee cup and shook it if there is still coffee in it.
That was not pleasant but except that, the coffee, foods, interior, the price, everything was great.

Molten coffee is a conscious breakfast cafe with its own personality.
Decor: 5/5 the array of plants with the cork tables add to conscious and healthy image that molten coffee clearly promotes. Seating is limited, and the cork tables are a bit small when ordering food as there is limited room for plates and coffee. There is an outside seating area as well but this was full.
Food: 3/5- very healthy, my Avo bagel was crunchy but lacked flavour. My partner had an egg and bacon roll, and this too lacked flavour. Perhaps it has to do with the lack of salt/spices. My partners americano arrived without milk? Orange juice was delicious.
Service: 5/5- they have a system and it clearly works. I visited during the busiest time and although I could see the gentlemen rushing, they were not spinning.
Bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade.
This is definitely the type of place to get your breakfast on the go unless you have managed to bag an outside table. Otherwise I left feeling very healthy.

Great coffee, excellent service only thing I didn't quite like was the char grilled bacon. I wish waiter asked how I wanted them done. Other than that definitely going back for coffee again or to try the fresh squeezed juice 🙋♀️

Motlen serves one of the best latte's I've had in Cape Town. Cool location where you can sit outside and do some people watching. Staff is upbeat, friendly and fast. 5 well deserved stars.

Worst coffee by far in Cape Town, send it back and still have to pay for it. Manager has crappy attitude, asked me if i have ordeted t? Then pay for it! Fair, no problem. One issue though....serve me what i orderd. Not a foam filled cup with whatever when i ordered a hot flat white. My suggestion, avoid till properly trained barista on site. Sorry guys, you sell sh*t flat white coffee.

I cannot rave enough about the cold toddy. What a wake up call for your taste buds! Delicious!!!! I also had a larnie salami sarmie which hit the spot, poppy seeds stuck in my gums notwithstanding (but that's my issue and not the establishments fault! 😀). All in all a lovely experience and great break in my work day.

Molten Toffee is quite a small cafe in Gardens; Shani Pretorius and I stopped by for a quick workday lunch.<br/><br/>The food was super tasty, but the portions were small considering the price. Also, Shani's order was incorrect and had to be sent back.<br/><br/>The waitstaff are super friendly, but a little bit scattered... One of the guys took Shani's order then left before taking mine.

I often frequent the CBD Molten Toffee, and it truly is one of my favourite coffee shops in Cape Town. They do one of the best Mochas I’ve ever had in Town, and their Lattes are just as good. The food is great as well. The staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve come across in coffee shops and I will go back again and again and again!

Cute little coffee shop that we stumbled upon. Went in there at about 11:30am so decided to have breakfast. I ordered the full works omelette which was huge! Packed with everything mentioned on the menu- might I add the bacon was crispy and the omelette was delicious. My mate ordered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and avocado on the side. For drinks I had the cortado coffee and my mate ordered the golden milk which was perfect! We went back again for more of it :).

Cute coffee shop on Kloof Street. Food is pretty good wouldn’t fault it but I don’t know if it’s good for people who want hearty meals. Probably best for breakfast and coffee on the go.

Popped into molten coffee to grab something that could help me with a cold!<br/>The staff was very helpful and luckily their signature hot drink for the day had apple juice, ginger and lemon which did just the trick.<br/>It's this rose gold and white setting with very cute lights and it is more a work spot over a cosy coffee date spot.

The friendliest coffee shop on Kloof Street. Popping in at Molten is always a personal experience! They serve the freshest green juice( if you are feeling healthy) as well as the yummiest bacon and egg tartlets sprinkled with feta cheese. The space is small yet cosy, and the service, as mentioned above, friendly and personal. You can easily feel like a regular on your second or third stop! Oh yes, and Wifi!

We love this place- great coffee (iced & other) & they do excellent poached eggs - I also really enjoy the haloumi wrap (vegetarian). Cool to sit at the window and watch the Kloof street crowd go by. Fast free wifi too. And the owners are always really welcoming.
