We had the chicken wings and steak combo which was very tasty! Service was great and the food came out very quickly, even though the place was quite busy. Great ambience and live music! Definitely recommend!

For a well known steak House known for their grilled meats they know how to do an excellent seafood combo plate comprising of hake, delicious calamari and mussels and prawns (tad dry) accompanied with your choice rod starch (I can recommend the mash) and a side garlic or lemon butter sauce (lemon is a personal preference). Their snails were exceptional with blue cheese sauce and the service was excellent with a one man band in the background it was a lovely evening. We also ordered a steak t bone. Would recommend the fillet with a sauce

Recenlty I had pleasure of dinning at famous butchers grill the experience was great! I had a sirloin and the steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. The restaurant however was completely empty when myself and my partner got there and by the time we left there were 3 other couples so there was no liveliness ...the decor and feel of the restaurant is very romantic and beautifull. I would definitely go back for a wonderful steak ! One of the best I have ever had😁

First time at this Butchers Grill. We ordered steak. And we were well served with tasty meals, a good wine and coffee. A musician gave the evening an ambience. Nothing noisy and a relaxed atmosphere. We can recommend the place.

We had always heard about the butchers grill and finally the day came that we got to taste the tales of legends.

Great food followed a friendly welcoming and a good selection of wines accompanied the magnificent ambiance that the Butchers Grill had to offer.

Steaks are on selection and after visiting the establishment 3 times, I'm happy to say the steaks consistency was always pure satisfaction.

I had a really lovely first experience at the Famous Butchers Grill last night. We were welcomed warmly into the restaurant by the waitrons and there was a guy playing soft music in the background which just added to the ambiance significantly. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated.

I ordered the kingklip with garlic butter and mashed potatoes. My friend ordered the steak and prawn combo - 200g sirloin steak with 3 prawns, and he had it with a baked potato.

Our food took about 20 minutes to arrive which isn't too bad.
My kingklip was soft and tender, and the flavour of the garlic butter complemented the fish beautifully. The mash was also smooth and creamy.
My friend's steak was cooked perfectly - medium well as he requested. He said the sirloin was delicious and the prawns were spicy - just the way he likes it. The baked potato was served with sour cream and was actually so big he could not finish it.

Our waiter was really friendly and made us feel at home. The food was flawless and portions were really large which makes the price worth it - I struggled to finish my kingklip. There is also ample parking outside in the street, as well as inside the hotel's secure parking (R30). I will definitely be back to try out other dishes on their extensive menu.

Great steaks! I had their 200g sirloin (medium rare) with the avo, biltong and mushroom sauce which I would definately recommend. My boyfriend had their 400g sirloin (rare) and was equally impressed. We had a good evening but they lose a point for their lack of ambiance. The staff were very friendly but because there were so few people there you could say they were too friendly.

This is a meat lovers paradise. Thick, prime cut juicy steaks made to order. The chef really knows his steaks. I had the 200g Rump cooked medium rare and my wife had the 200g rump cooked well done (yes I know, its a cardinal sin haha). My steak literally melted in mouth it was that good. It was basted in a mustard and black pepper basting. Absolutely devine. Will definitely be returning here very soon.
