I have one problem with this place: there are too many things on the menu I want to taste, but at the same time, I always want the Mac & Cheese. Such a struggle.
The aioli is the best I've ever tasted, and it complements the sweet potato fries (again, the best I've tasted) so well. (These work well as a side to the Mac & Cheese, so it doesn't give me the aforementioned problem.)
Besides the delicious food, the people are always friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and I love the decor. One of my absolute favourites.
The food is great and so is the vibe at this quirky little space. They're on Uber Eats, so when you can't make it to this lovely little spot itself, you can indulge in the good food from the comfort of your bed.

I happened upon this place for a solo lunch after visiting the District 6 museum, and had a delicious and healthy meal that was served up quickly. The vibe was friendly and welcoming, and I ordered the drunken chicken salad that had a delicious variety. Very affordable as well.
After they did renovations, it really changed my entire view of them. Their food has always been great, but the renovations really added the extra touch they needed to make the experience worthwhile. One of the most amazing places to come to in Cape Town. Our waiter Harry was extremely nice and checked up on us routinely asking politely if there was anything else we needed. Just wow!

The tiny, lush space is the antithesis to their HUGE flavours and variety of scrumptious dishes.
I'll be back again and again and again, especially on Mondays when the mac and cheese is on special. Or maybe every day, because a double G&T will only put you R25 out of pocket! No jokes.
What a great little treasure chest of wonderful food, eccentric sauces, and cheerful cocktails. I love it. And you will too.

A great ambience can be found at the Raptor room, this funky little spot has a lot of life. I came to try the mac n cheese and all i can say was superb. A great spot to go with family or friends looking for a bite to eat.
Came here for bottomless mimosa brunch with friends and it was utterly amazing. Still drooling just thinking about it and I can’t wait to go back. We were quite a large group so I was lucky to try practically everything on the menu and I can safely say that the Mac and cheese is one of the best I’ve had.

I was enraptored (geddit?) by the vibrant, eclectic décor, the friendly staff and the delicious food. The menu is fun and inventive and the meals are generous and hearty with local flavours. I had a samp falafel gatsby and my partner a veggie burger (which he doused with a very generous helping of the Raptor Room's own Hot Mama Sauce - delicious!) ; we were both delighted with our food. I can't wait to visit this place again.
The Big Green smoothie was not the greatest, however, the service was absolutely amazing. I was slightly obsessed with our waitress - she just made the whole experience so much better. Also, the music playing on a Sunday afternoon was just the right amount of vibey.

This Benedict breakfast has made it to the top of my list (and it doesn’t even come with bacon, but you can add!) very quickly and I just can’t get enough.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with the most beautiful decor. The staff are friendly, trendy and fun.
Definitely need to go back and try out one of their incredible-sounding cocktails!
