This is the best place to be, this is home away from home.
Great atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. The place is absolutely beautiful, and looks so warm and inviting. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the food looked absolutely incredible. Quaint coffee shop by day, The power and The Glory is transformed into a bustling bar by night. Definitely worth visiting.
On my visit, they only had dry wines. The vibe is amazing though, dancing the whole night.
A few really great craft beers. Also loved all the food I’ve ordered. Awesome place to meet up for a relaxed beer or three and an amazing sandwich (or coffee!)
Lots of drink choices (good beer and wine) but a little higher price to other places for a pint and a great spot for a drink in the evening and during the night. I see a few bad reviews about the staff but I personally haven’t had an issue with any staff there. The atmosphere is always and people are generally friendly. The hotdogs are big and delicious and worth the cost!
If you love a good breakfast, then here’s the place to be. Great service, we enjoyed our breakfast!
Nestled in a quiet corner of Kloofnek and Kloof Street. The décor a harmonious blend of modern minimalism and bohemian chic. The soft background music set just the right tone, allowing for easy conversation without any need to raise one's voice. A a perfect balance between being trendy and laid-back. There's something for everyone. I opted for their cheese and tomato sarmie and washed it down with a bottle of Cape Town 100% orange juice. As expected, the flavors were straightforward to the bone. Satisfying. The staff is very friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
Good neighbourhood spot with friendly staff and lots of healthy options. For the evening (or whenever) they have a solid selection of wine and craft beer. From an American perspective... I was happy to see hot dogs and pickle backs on the menu. Felt like home.

The Nutella cheesecake is absolutely fantastic. The coffee is good. The service at the counter can be better. The shop draws a young and hipster - looking crowd. The parking is terrible. However, in all it was a pleasant experience. Closed on Sundays.
Excellent Pub set over three different levels. Visit recommended.
