What a lovely evening we had at fire fish! The restaurant was lovely and relax and the view was stunning across the harbour looking onto table mountain.Broadney our waiter was such a lovely guy he never put us under any pressure and was on hand if we needed anything,nothing was too much trouble.(look for out him if you visit).we ordered swordfish and a seafood platter for two and it was excellent and so much of it too! Highly recommended,food 100%,waiter 100%,view perfect.
I had lunch on my own and the view was gorgeous. My waiter was really great since he didn’t check up on me too much or too little. The prawns were delicious, I was jus shocked there were no sauces that came with it such as chili even though the prawns had chili flakes (I think). I also ordered the passion fruit and lemonade and later oysters which I was informed the special had jus ended before I ordered. I would recommend this place.
What a beautiful place!! I went here for late lunch after landing in the mother city. I had the baby squid with citrus rice. Absolutely delicious! The ambiance was amazing of course as expected from V&A restaurants. The staff was quick and efficient. Great spot!
It's the waterfront and one of course expects the best and this place did not disappoint. The service was fast, our waiter was the best, the food😭😭😭😭😭 it was so good guys. Shuuu, I'd eat there everyday if I were rich😂
Walking passed the fire fish. Cought our eyes. Staff is so welcoming . Had the sushi was really good haven't had sushi like that in a while. The prawns cooked so well that they literally fell out the shell. Glad we tried them out.

Super delicious seafood!! Prawns and mussels were amazing, sushi was first class and the cheesecake was one of the best I have ever had. Friendly and efficient service and beautiful atmosphere and surroundings. A bit pricy but worth every penny. Would recommend this place to everyone.
We were a large group of about 16. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Mains were excellent. Desserts were disappointing and service slow. Good atmosphere.
First time eating here. A bit pricey that's why I rated it 4.0 Superb setting with awesome views. Excellent service. Decent size menu. Each dish very unique. Very tasty and well presented. Will definitely be back.

Mini review, because I can't help it. Holy cow, we are totally blown away! We have enjoyed every single moment of our dinner at FireFish. From the warm welcome we received at the entrance, to the attention and amazing recommendations throughout the evening, I literally cannot stop gushing about this place. For starter Jeanne and I chose the crispy duck. We have been searching for somewhere that does the amazing crispy duck we know and love but have not been successful until tonight. I chose ribs for main and the depth of flavour was so delightfully intense. Last but not least, cheesecake for dessert! Flip it, was it not like biting into a cloud 😮 deconstructed and absolutely divine, it was the perfect way to end off a fabulous meal at a beautiful new spot that, undoubtably, will be yet another hot spot in the Mother City! I booked this table before my trip to Cape Town after reading reviews and seeing the menu, I also requested a nice table with a view! The V&A waterfront is such a lovely place! The staff at Baia took note of our request for a nice table and did just that! Can’t thank them enough! The food was delicious! The staff were so friendly! I’m so glad we chose this as our ‘Holiday Date Night’! If you’re thinking of booking, please don’t hesitate!

One of the best seafood meals I ate while in Cape Town! The fresh grilled sardines and the whole grilled linefish were cooked wonderfully - flavorful and clearly very fresh! The view from the seating area was fantastic as well — there’s something special about eating fresh seafood while looking out at the sea. The service was fantastic — easily 5 stars! The staff was incredibly accommodating. Hard not to go back during my time visiting Cape Town, but alas, I wanted to try some other places too.

Omg !!! This restaurant is a must do book early! I did a tour with Globus Tours, and this was a restaurant they had for one of our dinners. Despite the cab strikes that were happening in the city, the food was a 10/10 . That calamari and that sauce was cooked to perfection. The sea Bass had me lacking my fingers the cheese came was divine. I had the white white wine white, and it was great for me. This is a definite must visit!!!
Had the king flip, cray fish tail, langoustine.
King flip was very tasty with a unique texture, it was our first time and we really love it. Crayfish tail was ok. Langoustine was also another highlight, sweet and flavorful.
Waiter service was ok, it started off well and he needed to serve other tables and kind of slowed down to clear up our’s, another waiter had to tend to us. He also forgot our items as it was kept in the restaurant’s counter. Utensils were not replaced after each meal, even when it was left on the plate. But overall friendly and clean.
Love the atmosphere, very well set up restaurant that is considered semi fine dining(just don’t expect explanations in regards to your food).

Thot that the price of the food was very fair to the quality that was served. We only ate seafood and all were so fresh.
