Petiscos - Cape Town Central - Photo album

Stopped for a car repair issue and saw this place upstairs of an unassuming and bland business park. Interesting decor in that it looks like they fired the interior designer right at the start and brought in cousin Bert who just loves pottering about in his wood shop and also dabbles in copper pipe
Best Portuguese restaurant in Cape Town! Truly authentic. Delicious food. Great service. Highly recommend!
My sister travelling from the UK, ended her 2 week Cape Town holiday today. Before leaving to go back home tomorrow, she wanted to eat some excellent Portuguese food. Petiscos did not disappoint, from the most scrumptious food, amazing live music and festive vibe. We couldn’t of asked for better way
The restaurant came highly recommended & truly lived up to its reputation for great food & service!! We ordered a variety of meals & were not disappointed by any of them!! I would highly recommend the prawn curry, as well as the prawn cakes!! Absolutely delicious. In addition to the great food, the
Very posh dining experience. The chicken was grilled perfectly, and sauce was excellent. Limited cocktails, but still great. Enjoyed dinner!
Great dinner, authentic and delicious. Staff were all extremely friendly, and we loved the peri peri chicken livers. My partner had the prawn curry, absolutely Devine! Will be back for sure. Great date night spot!
Amazing food. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. At night they also had someone to watch over the cars outside, which was nice.
The curry crab and the fish was delicious. The prawns and the chicken was disappointing. The chicken was a bit dry and the prawns lacked flavour. The location is above a shopping centre - no views. Inside and outside seating. Friendly service.
Great place, amazing food and great service from Amandie. Will be back soon.
Nothing pretensious here, be it the location, decor or patrons. Open the front door and you feel the buzz. People eating with gusto, boisterous laughing and sometimes live music. It is a true neighbourhood restaurant and most customours are clearly regulars. Fresh ingredients, prepared well and wit
Simply unbeatable.. if you’re looking for an incredible Portuguese restaurant in Cape Town this is the real deal .. small and intimate… unpretentious and authentic. Highly recommend the XaiXai chicken, crab curry, Portuguese steak, Cod and prawn rissoles. I have made my way through the menu for year
Beer was nice and Ice cold, food wasn't bad either....hahaha. Jokes! The food looked and was great. Tasty Portuguese food. I had a taste of Prawn Curry with rice....nice...I had a taste of Meat on sticks [kebabs] which was big and filling, and a beef stew with chips. I can say that they all tasted g
Food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. Definitely will go back.
Awesome food and really good prices. Very chilled, relaxed vibe with affordable drinks. R14 for vodka and R15 for gin. Tins of mixer is R15 which is very good. Meals average R100 up to about R250. Starters are r40ish really tasty food. Super friendly staff. Would recommend
We went to celebrate my girlfriend's father's birthday. I must say the place is cozy and warm, got a nice feeling already when we walked in. We got absolutely superb service from our waitress and last but not least, the food was spot on for all of us! The skewers are to die for, not to mention the s
The restaurant is small, so make a booking just to be safe. It feels nice and cozy inside. The food was really great and the chilli sauce they put on the table is to die for. The service could be better as it's a little on the slow side. We were disappointed that the owner (whom we saw at several ot
