The owners are friendly and very welcoming. Pets are welcome. Food is to die for. Loved my seafood curry best I've ever had.
Lovely Portuguese restaurant. The anti pasto is a visual and tasting delight, among the best I've had around the globe. Can highly recommend the espetada super friendly hosts and staff added to the great experience
You always find the most unexpected surprises when you venture off the beaten track! This is a typical small-town restaurant: unpretentious, lots of regulars, warm and super-friendly owners, a resident bistro cat and some wholesome food that's cooked with real love. The homemade pasta is superb, and the fish was cooked beautifully. Well worth a visit.
I was very impressed by the quality, friendliness and service. The food was delicious, my burger was juicy and perfectly cooked and the chicken schnitzel looked delicious. The waitress was on the ball, friendly and very helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised by the prices and would definitely recommend you stop by; If you're in the area, I can't see any reason not to.
This is the second time we’ve had the pleasure of dining here while passing through town.

My wife and I stopped in as we had been told there was fresh pasties de nata. The vibe was very relaxed and friendly. My wife gravitated towards their in house cat immediately. The pasties were warm and delicious. We had a reservation else were so we weren't able to try any of their other offerings. I look forward to the opportunity to do so.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Take a drive and do yourself a favour and come dine in one of our true gems. Great people, great place, exceptional cuisine... Book! And early - there's limited capacity, and word gets out quickly!

The food here was very good. I had peri-peri chicken livers for starters and lamp chops for mains; highly recommend. Very well prepared and amazingly tasty. Good value for money. Unfortunately didn't take any photos. The owners, Henry and Michelle, of the restaurant is also very pleasant people.
We spent the weekend at the Winter Festival in Calitzdorp and had a special braai lunch on Father's Day. It was the best meal of the weekend. Friendly service and great food. Would recommend strongly.
