Review Sioux Spur Steak Ranch - Brackenfell

Best spur I have had in years and years. No sloppy oily onion rings and chips like at some other branches. Food came out hot and fast. They other I noticed and appreciate was that they seasoned the chips and onion rings.

Went there for dinner on 27 November 2022. Our waiter Morgan was friendly, kind, helpful and humerous. He assisted me with ordering a g&t (I wanted to know if the blue one tasted better than the watermelon one) and he advised me to go for the blue one. I was not dissatisfied. I had asked for no onions and only chips, but was still provided with onions and chips. When I pointed this out to Morgan, he said he will bring out my other side of chips and I can give my onions to my brother-in-law. This was no problem at all. He handled the situation with grace and admitted that he had made a mistake. We didn't wait too long for the food and the food was delicious. We were seated close to the play section for the kids, as my niece was with. Overall the service was excellent. I didn't have my Spur rewards card with me and I provided my cellphone number, I believe the manager, came up to me, and said that they moved away from the "provide your cellphone number system" and now you can instead use the app. This is kinda cool. As my first time eating at this branch, I would definitely recommend it.

My colleague and I have been here a few times now. Never had a problem apart from the milk jug being a bit dirty. The food is excellent well prepared and by far the fastest of all the spurs. The staff are very aware of their customers and the general cleanliness of the restaurant is a win. We had anything from breakfast and ribs and they are consistent in their delivery. Will return again.

Went for breakfast. The manager and waiter assured me my bacon could be swopped for egg or mushrooms and a complimentary tea or coffee was a added bonus. Well done to your team. You have a new loyal customer.

My partner and I would like to thank this facility for being the BEST EVER. Last night my partner and I had the WORST experience ever at another restaurant and had wait 3hrs with no food coming. We left hungry and stopped at this Spur (mind you it was 9:35pm) we rushed in and were greeted by a friendly young man and we explained our situation and asked if he could please help us, he then agreed and said he’ll make it happen for us. He seated us and made sure we were comfy. Not even 10 minutes later we had our 2 burgers and were out the door with smiles on our face. This has seriously made our night so much better. Such friendly and caring staff.

It was bigger than what I remembered it being the last time I was there. The play area was crazy busy. I was a little apprehensive leaving my 3 year old child there, but all in all a pleasant experience... as expected from Spur!

5 stars for everything. I am becoming a regular now. Always receive excellent service from waiter Todd. Food is always delicious and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere looking out onto stellenberg.

Our waiter Olwethu was really so warm and welcoming . Superb service. Children running up and down with no adults reprimanding them was a bit annoying , but other than that it was a lovely experience

The best steak ever. I cannot express how delicious their cheesy prawn steak is. I’ve had it else where but nothing compared to theirs. Also I ordered take aways and when I got home my steak was still perfect which shows that they took into accountability that the steak would still cook in its own heat.

Last Tuesday we went to eat Calamari. It was wonderful and the portions were huge as well as very fresh. This is the very best Spur, and we eat there regularly. This time our waitress treated us like Kings!

Upon visiting this Spur for the 2nd time, the food was good and the service was Excellent!, when arriving I was greeted and seated by Marijke the manager, there was a party hat and drawing paper on the table waiting for my son as it was his birthday. He was so exited. Well done to Marijke for the spectacular service!!!, she has such a warm and friendly personality, she made us feel very welcomed. We will be visiting again soon.

Took my grandparents to spur for a milkshake and ended up staying for lunch. Shoutout to Eddie our waitress, she took great care of us and even brought the pensioners menu for my grandparents

We love eating at our local Spur with the kids. It’s warm and inviting and the food is good. Often, Olivia is our waitress and she is professional, warm and anticipates our orders. Her attentive- style makes this Spur even better.

I only have good words for Sioux Spur, we often have a pensioners lunch which is such a treat as not only is the food of excellent quality and value it means we can actually eat out even living on a tight budget. We find the food is always of high quality, and comes to the table hot ever time and the staff are always so friendly and attentive and so much patience. Thank you Sioux Spur for giving us a great experience every time.

The service which my family and i received last night was absolutely terrible _ apart from our order being thrown around from waiter to waiter our food tasted disgusting as the patty on our beef burger was not baseted with any sauce as well as the chicken wings were still raw and had blood coming from it _ our chicken shnitsel tasted like dishwashing liquid !! We always go eat at sioux spur and never had this ever happend i am totally disgusted .

My family and I went yesterday evening out for the Monday buy one get one free burger special. Everything went well and the services was excellent. Unfortunately the burger I ordered (chicken) was completely raw. Our waiter handled the situation well. He brought me a nother plate and did not leave untill I was completely satisfied with my order.

We recently attended a special outdoor school concert & the food truck that sold burgers caught alight, promptly shut down & so we could not order food nor cooldrinks for 8 really hungry adults & kids! Quick thinking allowed us to order our meals & cooldrinks through you via Mr Delivery and true to the specified delivery time, our food arrived and we were so relieved to know we had eaten as we had a solid 2hrs of Singing to get through�� Thanks for your lovely food & efficient service Sioux Spur�

Good entertainment area for the kids. The cheaper burgers on a Monday, free kids sodas (with Spur cards) as well as my son's free birthday meal, sparkler in the ice-cream and birthday song all contributed a to a wonderful evening spent with the family. The food was tasty. What a good deal...

We called and ordered take aways. What a disaster. I have pictures of what they call a chicken burger. Piece of chicken on a bun. Thats it.no garnish just a bun and a piece of overcooked chicken. I had a stacked hunger buster. 1 patty raw and the other burnt to a crisp. Not good at all.

We recently had our little girl's 4th birthday party here. What an awesome experience! Great effort was made to ensure that we were seated right next to the play area, the food was great and service exceptional! Thank you Sioux Spur Steak Ranch-staff for making my daughter's birthday one to remember!

We usually have a great experience with their take aways.. Unfortunately, this was far from true tonight. Tasteless hot veg, canned pineapple, soggy chips and onion rings - of which one portion was missing. Mushroom sauce also missing from the cheddamelt schnitzel order. The only positive thing from this experience was the friendly and helpful attitude from the manager when we called to report this.

Low-key the best restaurant I've been at. Such a uniformed presence from every branch.

Sorry got to edit my review. Food was aweful and burnt. Our experience for my sons birthday was terrible. We won't be going to spur for a long time.....

Went there with my parents for supper, it was super busy, but the food was great (we had steak) and service was good. Would only suggest that you don't over cook the baked patato that much, felt like leather in my mouth hehe. Will definitely go back , nice atmosphere overall.

Went here on Saturday for breakfast with my daughters. Order some drinks, 2 breakfasts and ice creams for the kids. Eggs were not medium as requested, otherwise meals were good.<br/><br/>Service was excellent. I like that they have a dedicated play section that my almost 2 year old can enjoy. Just one suggestion is to lower the max age of that specific play area.

The atmosphere is cosy and this Spur feels like a family restaurant.<br/>The service was quick, friendly and professional, the staff works as a team.<br/>The food, not to bad, Burger special was fresh and tasty (the Mexican chicken could have been a bit more crispy and spicy), but the Pepper-melt was on point.<br/>The Spicy Buffalo wings, a winner.<br/>But the Nachos needs more cheese (can be a bit dry and bland without the correct amount of cheese). Also we are used to nachos being a heap, not a neat little circle of chips with a crater in the middle....just saying.<br/><br/>Enjoyed this Spur more than most of its fellow franchises in the area.

Went there once, food was same as every other Spur but the service was very disappointing. Won't go back there, prefer to go to another Spur instead.
