This place is really cool. They serve amazing food honestly and it’s really affordable! I would recommend
Got there during the day and it was buzzing, the lady who greated us at the door was so helpful. Showed us all the sitting options and made sure we were comfortable. The drinks were not flowing, so we had to wait and at times call her for refills but hoping that was because it was busy. Great overall experience and will definitely be going back

Visited this restaurant during the luck hour . I am impressed by the wings R80 for six you can choose from 12 different flavours. This is place is a must try . The flavour honey Sriracha is a 10 out 10 and the. Choose the Prego flavour will give it a 6 out 10. Can't wait to come back and try the other flavours .

I had a great visit - their food is as good as advertised. I am definetely coming back to checkout more cocktails and pork ribs.
The space is slightly cramped, but I guess that's the atmosphere they are trying to exhibit - intimacy 😊. A furniture change or fix would be greatly appreciated, especially the couches - some parts torn badly and not so comfortable.
Overall - I had a pleasing experience, from the food all the way to the guy that was serving us, big shout-out to him.

It's a pub-style, student-ville type wing and rib spot and for what it is, it's great. Good quality tasty food, great portions, loud music and generally just chilled youthful vibes overall.
One of the best restaurant in braam square. The wings were cooked to perfection the meat fell of the bones. The service and the vibe was 10 out of 10. You might need to be early because parking is a bit scarce. If you are in braam Square you definitely need to check it out.
The food here is amazing. The Republican Burger was full of flavour from the fresh ingredients. The chips were perfectly salted. One of my friends ordered the berry smoothie which I tried a sip. Put it this way I ordered a take away smoothie. Best burger I've had in Joburg.
Loved the place. It's a proper student joint. Not fine dining but definitely not sloppy either! They have some really awesome recession-friendly specials that would put a smile on anyone's face. In these trying times, you want the best bang for your buck, so here are the specials as at August 2018:
- 3 Heineken draughts: R99
- Bottomless ribs every Tuesday: R119 (from 15-19:00 I think): R119
- Bottomless wings every Wednesday (from 15-19:00 I think): R150
- Pasta and Wine: R100
- Bucket of 6 Budweiser beers: R100
I tried their pesto pasta.. it wasn't well seasoned and I ended up running the dish by being over-zealous with the salt.
The wings were awesome, they come in several flavours and I went for the Lemon something something... Don't remember the name but really enjoyed them. Finger licken and all...
Oh yeah... and if you happen to wanna ball, you can also buy a bottle of champagne here. Just imagine how bad and bougie you'd look with wings and champers!!! Woo!!! Too nice!!!
