Very nice setting and good waiters. One small problem asked soft easy over eggs. They were not soft but the meal was still good. Waiter did offer to bring new eggs but had already eaten most of my meal.Dennis

Had breakfast with friends on Women's Day. The service was great. The food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back again with more friends.

The service the waiter gave us was remarkable. He made sure he kept a smile on his face at all times. Because the restaurant is in an estate complex it is very quiet and a great place to have lunch with friends. The scenery is also very beautiful I must say. Great place to come to in Summer.
P.s. The picture attached is of the lake(not sure what to call it) nearby. There are also rabbits hopping around.
The kids decided to spoil me for lunch to this restaurant on father's day. There was ample parking when we arrived. We made our way into the restaurant and sat outside overlooking the dam.
We opted for the buffet that was going for R149/head. There was a good variety as there was roast potatoes, pumpkin, roast beef, stirfry, rice, butter chicken and pizza ob offer. We ate to our heart's content. We opted for nonalcoholic beverages and everything was chilled and cold and enjoyable.
I will definitely return maybe on date night for pizza.
Beautiful place to eat lunch - sitting outside is a pleasure and is welcome scenery in the suburban chaos. Always awesome to have craft beer on the menu (especially in the East Rand) and the menu was quite extensive. They did have quite a few vegetarian options but vegan is scarce (as it is with most ordinary restaurants so no judgement). Definitely recommended!

Zomato spoilt me with a voucher to this restaurant so on this fine winter morning we headed there for breakfast. When I booked during the week a courteous lady took our booking but warned that they were very busy for breakfast but she'd find us a table. Hence when we arrived at this restaurant/conference centre/clubhouse, nestled in a security Estate and next too a nice man made dam, I expected a large crowd and crushed tables.
However we were met by an empty reception and an emptier restaurant. We walked past a nice collection of wines and a well appointed bar and we had the pick of the tables and ended up next to the glass sliding doors that looked straight onto the lake. Very pleasant indeed. We opted not to sit outside under the umbrellas despite how appealing it looked.
My daughter saw the kiddies play area next to our table and headed for the slides, jungle gyms, etc
We ordered a white chocolate hottie and a cuppacino to start. The cuppacino cup was a large comforting size mug of yummy. The White chocolate was sweet, frothy and very good.
We ordered two Farmhouse breakfasts as this was their flagship breakfast and a mini breakfast for my daughter. The Farmhouse breakfasts were large and consisted of mushrooms, rosa tomatoes, bacon, 2 x pork sausages, toast, chips and two eggs. It looked appealing on the plate.
Unfortunately the toast was cold and the sausage totally over cooked and dry. However I did enjoy the breakfast. The combination of ingredients, options and textures tasted great. The chip spice was notable.
We had a second cuppacino and an espresso to end off breakfast and they were both good.
Overall the setting, location & ambiance of the restaurant is peaceful, sunny & very relaxing. The service was perfect. The atmosphere had a strong kiddie focus and sense of spacious relaxation. As a family we enjoyed our overall experience and thank you Zomato and Lago Puccini for a pleasant peaceful breakfast.

I had to go to clearwater for an appointment so decided to go a little early and give this place a try. It wasnt busy there were few tables taken up outside and the staff were busy re arranging the tables and chairs all over. Its got a big kiddies play area and nice outside view for a chilled relaxed meal. They have a diverse menu with a good variety. I liked the cocktails menu but didnt give it a try as yet. Service was a bit slow even though the waiters were all over the place and our table needed a bit of fixing the sides were coming off. We ordered a chai tea, lemon crusher and kola tonic and lemonade. Lemon crusher was nice and refreshing.
As for food we ordered the trinchado starters, the chicken mykonos and the prego steak roll. The trinchado was a good portion size and nice and spicy, the chicken mykonos was breasts with spinach and feta and comes with onion rings and chips. The chicken was very tender and tasty. The prego steak had good flavour i did struggle to bite my steak a bit as i got a fatty portion and the onion rings and chips were good.
Will definitely give them another try as the variety is good and i liked sitting outside. The prices are slightly high and the service a bit slow.
This is the restaurant inside the Clearwater Lifestyle Estate, at the Clubhouse. It's actually very nice and very consistent. Food always tastes good, and they have a great view and awesome kids playground, even a little jungle gym for toddlers. Overall we enjoy going here for breakfasts.
Was great, we had focaccia- it really is a must to try. Then had Trinchado and Lamb chops... The food tasted really great and is well prepared. Awesome view over natural dam.. A must to visit if you want to break away from the city.

I would just recommend music to create a warm and romantic atmosphere. There was music playing after the live artist but it was very very soft.
Have been going to Lago Puccini for many months now and they are consistent. Service, food, atmosphere is always great.
On the 29th of September I decided to use the venue for a function and just when I thought they could not get any better Joshna Sahadeo and her team out did themselves. They went above and beyond with the decor and service. There was not a single complaint. I highly recommend Lago Puccini...See you again soon :)
The restaurant was full and there wasn't any space but the waiter was kind enough to fit us in and made a plan with a table. The pizza was delish. Base nice and thin and crispy, not soggy and the filling was just right and tasty. The meals my friends had looked good and there were no complaints from them. The waiter walked past with the fish and chips and it looked like it was going to be enjoyed.
Despite the restaurant being very full we didn't have to wait too long except for our first round of drink but it was understandable. Our waiter was attentive but not pushy, timing of checks and extra drinks etc was spot on. The music was very loud, we did ask to turn it down which they did but a little while later it was loud again, like I said they were full and perhaps one of the party tables asked for it to be turned up.
Such a nice atmosphere very chilled.
Best service and diversity on the menu options great place for kids and to host parties. Great place to take a stroll. There is a gym which is open to the public.
Looking for a new place we decided to visit Lago. The restaurant is inside an estate (not very complicated to get inside the estate, but finding the restaurant is tricky). The restaurant is cute, nothing too fancy, they have so much seating, inside and outside. Outside overlooking a lake, I'm sure on a clear night and during the day it's beautiful. We didn't know what to expect, but the menu had a great variety at great prices. We ordered a veg pasta, but we added on chicken. It was so good. Freshly prepared and tasted really good. They have a lovely variety of vegetarian options as well. Don't be put off from visiting because it's inside an estate. They even have a bar next to the restaurant as well.

Absolutely stunning place, the ambiance was amazing and services was exquisite 👌. If you love pictures, then make sure you have enough storage 😆because every room has a perfect setup. I would definitely return any day and my salad was absolutely delicious 😋.
What a stunning restaurant with a great view and relaxed atmosphere. Waiters are so friendly and welcoming. We requested a mocktail to be made and the waiter gave us new cocktails to try as well which were amazing. We tried the pesto chicken and the napolitana pasta, absolutely delicious and saucy. The chocolate volcano was a little bit dry but it was really good. Would definitely go back to try more on their menu😉

I would highly recommend Lago Puccini Café & Lounge for private events and functions! The venue is gorgeous with stylish decor and a beautiful view over the grassy banks and dam. The events coordinator is highly skilled and will meet all of your needs including flower arrangements and table decor. The food platters were simply amazing.
Great food and atmosphere, I would certainly recommend Lago Puccini. Wednesday is date night, and the music was very good.
Unfortunately our return did not yield the same experience
