One of my top favorite places to eat. They have gotten a bit expensive over the years. But platter for one is definitely a winner. The lemon butter sauce is amazing. Staff friendly. They make amazing fish.
My visit to this Ocean Basket was a bit disappointing.
We ordered Mojitos but it was tasteless it tasted like water and lemon juice 😔
The manager graciously offered to replace our cocktails unfortunately the Strawberry Daiquiri was so sweet it tasted like cheap juice that could easily put someone in a diabetic coma.
The starters, main and dessert were good not great, the Irish coffee was so bad, it tasted like the cream went off...
There was quite a bit of flies around the table which was annoying and unhygienic.
On a positive note, I've ordered takeaways from this place a few times and surprisingly, the takeaways tasted so much better.

Decent food, good service. Visited this establishment twice. Generally we have sushi and the seafood platters. Always prepared nicely, never had an issues, staff are always eager and attentitive...

They are the only seafood restaurant who’s calamari I enjoy.

I took my wife out for an early lunch and was I so so glad we chose this place. We have been doing a lot of the seafood thing lately but I freely admit that this particular experience stands head and shoulders above the rest.
The restaurant was very quiet, but then again it was early, the service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and when we left, stuffed to the gills, I still had that lingering taste on my tongue that screamed for more, more, and more, PLEASE.
This place will definitely be seeing more of me in the future as well as intros to the rest of my family and friends.

Having no electricity for over 24 hrs means there is need for takeaways.. unless you just want to make sandwiches at home. We bought takeaways from the newly relocated OB. I ordered the grilled fish and salad. 2 small portions of fish were sufficient with my side salad and a decent portion of feta went down well and filled the tummy.

We made my dad really happy for fathers day by coming here. Good old fish and chips make him happy. We however ordered the fried sushi for starters which were amazing. They had the mussels. For mains we had the usual prawns and calamari combo. Good was done perfectly. The taste was great and the service was good even though they were so busy.
I tried the strawberry daiquiri instead of my usual cosmo (which mom decided to try) and I thought it wasn't bad - definitely gives brainfreeze. Last but not least we thought we will end with something sweet as they had cakes on offer. Carrot ( which I'm a sucker for) chocolate and then a cheesecake. I liked the carrots cake itself but it was way too sweet with the icing - a cream cheese frosting would have made the world of difference
We visited this branch for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by how big it is, plenty seating inside and outside. They weren't very busy. The service was chilled, but we didn't feel neglected. We visited for dinner and the food was amazing! The crusted kingklip is next level, if you enjoy Kingklip normal you MUST try it this way (my new favorite). Our dessert was a little frozen but it still tasted good.
I have eaten at Ocean Basket restaurants around the country and generally the experience is very very positive.
Typically I eat their grilled hake.
This time I went big and got two of their sushi platters. They are pricey but that is what to expect with freshly made sushi. The product quality and visuals was Top Class.

Gugu was fantastic, remembered everyone's orders, knew all the options on the menu, didn't have to wait long for service from her or look for her as she was just there ready. Food was fantastic and exactly as ordered.
The staff were friendly and service was good. My wife had the Mezze plater, unfortunately there was quite alot of salt on most the fried items. Other then that it was good.

Over-all everything was excellent was hosting nephew from Sweden he enjoyed his first ever Ocean Basket experience. We were family of 8.

Had a lunch date with my cousin.The eatery and staff were welcoming and the food was served warm. enjoyed my date and will definately visit once more. In terms of parking, there was more than enough parking space.
