A well deserved Five ☆ Star restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us. There are a great variety to choose from. The food is great and I loved the decor and art.
We travel to Bloemfontein for work every 2 weeks or so, and we always pop in at Iewers Nice. A delicious menu and service that shines. Always a pleasure! 😬
Not really sure how to describe this place but I think the name captures it pretty well. Iewers nice is actually spot on. Fun, arty-crafty decor, slow, relaxed and hippie feel with good service and a very interesting menu. Food quality was good if as long as you don't expect anything traditional or "normal". Don't think french toast is a slice if bread...nope...its a baked bread...burger...don't think traditional patty...nope....its a tower with interesting toppings and a pure beef "frikkadel" style patty. Everything screams home made and I this is why I enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.
Interesting restaurant with a little artistic flair. Love the food, tasty and good quality. Service was friendly and the waiters made we where happy during our meal. Will definitely go again, nice for breakfast, tea, lunch and enough space for small groups
This is hands down the best restaurant in bloem! The service is awesome, the menu is amazing! I never visit Bloemfontein without eating here multiple times!

What a gem! And a pleasure to find people who actually understand preparing breakfast without bacon and eggs! Even the most delicate vegan french toast topped with green figs and fried mushrooms. What an incredible combination!
The Rosti Vegelation was unbelievable! Bacon and egg replaced by haloumi.
Add good service and a fire place on a cold winters morning.... You can't go wrong...😄😄
Delicious food, quirky decor and great service. Mismatches china and local art on the walls make it an interesting experience not just a meal out. Thanks for a yummy breakfast!

This place is amazing. The decor is completely unique, creative and beautiful. The menu is so cool. Full of jokes and puns and stuff people doodled in it and I must say it was the most fun I ever had ordering food at a restuarant. The food was amazing and very filling. I had the German burger with the potato cheese balls ans it was amazing. One of the best burgers I ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood for something new and exciting. Only thing that shocked me a bit was that they charged me R5 for a glass of water.
This is my absolute favourite restaurant in a radius of 500km! I do not leave Bloemfontein without a visit to this restuarant. I had "kaiings & pap" and my friend had the chicken livers in prego sauce for breakfast and we went back for lunch for the fruity curry chicken salad and the pork salad. Divine!

The decor is Pinteresty and bright outside but darker and artsy inside.
I had the Nice Balsamico with creamy balsamic sauce, deep fried halloumi and oyster mushrooms. My ladies fillet was incredibly soft and I couldn't get enough of the sauce.
My fiancé had the German burger and also finished the lot. He dipped the remaining pieces of the burger bun in the balsamic sauce.
Iewers Nice also has a banting section on their menu.
The owner is present at the restaurant and is an incredibly friendly and pleasant person.
The only issue we had was actually finding the place. It's inside the Pretty Gardens centre in the "courtyard" and not on the outside like some of the other businesses.
Be sure to also try their gourmet milkshakes. The lemon meringue one is out of this world.
It's a really great spot with an eclectic yet cosy feel with all the art on display. Lovely, flavourful food - definitely would recommend for vegetarians as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my vegan gnocchi and the milkybar cheesecake.
What fantastic people who made my 7yr Old's vegan Princess High tea absolutely perfect in every way. Incredibly generous and caring owners. They really made her dream come true.
Some times one just wants to be happily surprised. Iewers Nice did that for me. Lovely waiter with excellent service and a lovely menu with surprise items like pap and kaiings. Look out for the vegetarian options and the willingness to create something vegan (vegan French toast - using orange juice delviousness and other lunch options available). A bit of indie tunes (live music on the Saturday i visited) and it is a bit of Bloem one might just HAVE to experience.

I wonderful place for your inner Bohemian . Their carrot cake is easily the best I've ever had in Bloem .The owner,Andries and my waiter for the day ,Nathan, made this feel more like a visit to understanding friends than a restaurant visit .
They aim on being a safe space and they have more than achieved it . Really enjoyed the insightful and personal conversation I had with everyone, easily felt like I had known them for years .A lifetime even !
Bohemian style restaurant with art works at home in every corner. Funky food served by caring staff plus live music made this a winning combination for me and my son. What a surprise of a place! Go and treat yourself.
I had the best quiche ever at Iewers Nice! The food is excellent. This restaurant is definitely one of Bloemfontein's Gems! They pay alot of attention to detail and that is what makes them special. You can taste the love they put into preparing your meal. The staff are also well trained and very professional. They know all of the items on the menu and can make excellent recommendations. Well worth the visit.
A place for free spirits to have a great time with other free spirits. The atmosphere is inviting and liberating. The food is delicious and the people are amazing. Art for sale on the walls, affordable prices all amazing. Please give it a try

Remains my favourite restaurant in Bloem! Today we had to try something new (to add to the growing list of preferred dishes). Hubby had the pork chops and rösti while I tried the sample breakfast plate. Great idea if you can’t decide what to pick. Fantastic meal with live music.
