The Parks is most probably one of the best venues in Benoni. Especially for those with children under the age of about 9. The food is excellent, the prices are not exorbitant. The service is good and the children have an amazing experience. The owners are friendly and considerate and I always recommend it to all my friends. Not much to beat it as far as child friendly venues are concerned.

I love this farm style family friendly place, the best for me are their pizzas, I usually can't eat pizza because I'm wheat intolerant but their pizza bases are made from cheese! the breakfast is also amazing!

A firm favourite with my kids so we are regular visitors to The Parks. It's great for an early breakfast or a long lunch. If you are from out of town this place qualifies as 'off the beaten track' and can be hard to find, but it is worth the effort. There is secure off-street parking but it fills up quickly and you might have to park on the street (There is a guard and there isn't really passing traffic).

There is always a warm welcome at the gate and a friendly face to usher you to a table on the outside of the main play area or an inside table if you looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Kids have many options available, from a huge sandpit to mini golf (there is Playstation for the older kids).

The menu caters for all tastes but I can recommend it all. My favourite for breakfast is 'The Parks Breakfast' and the Tuna Salad or Italiano Romano for lunch. The coffee is always good and comes with a piece of their homemade biscotti. Kids can choose from the kiddies menu although my kids always opt to make their own pizza.

The staff are always friendly and the service is good however you can wait for your food if its busy.

If you worried about your kids and smokers stress no more as the smoking section is outside next to the parking and far away from the kids.

What a lovely hidden spot! If you have children, it's definitely a must in this area. My boyfriend and I stopped here on a "let's explore Benoni" day. We did feel a bit strange at first as we don't have children but we soon over came this due to the vibrant staff, quick service and delicious food!! We shared a pizza and pasta, delicious!

What a lovely place. We arrived to a warm, friendly greeting and were seated under a beautiful tree. Our waitress was very friendly and very efficient. I love how child and family oriented this place is. Our 3 year old daughter had so much fun.
The food was excellent. Really good pizzas and they are not shy with the toppings. My husband also like that they have craft beer on tap and offer tasters. Well worth the 30 minute drive from our side of Boksburg.

Great for family where kids can have fun.
Food is really good. Portion sizes are big. We ended up taking a lot of food home.
Staff are friendly. Service was quick.
This place ticks all the boxes if you want to enjoy lunch with not having to worry too much about the kids, as they are very visible in the play area.

I came here for breakfast with a friend before any crowds gathered, which gave us a good view of the establishment and the effort put into the functionality and appearance. The breakfast and accompanying cappuccinos were excellent. I especially favour the tasty homemade breads that we were given. I'll definitely be back to try the pizza to hopefully add the last point in the rating.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but this really is a case of don't judge a book by its cover. I came here early in the morning and had a tasy breakfast and coffee and enjoyed the quiet, relaxing vibes. There is a great play area for kids but probably isn't as peacefull when they are around, but if you have kids then its a great place for you! The place is well designed so that you can always have an eye on your child without leaving the table. Definitely coming back here!

Tranquillity. ..lovely. ...big open space .more for people with small kids. Loved the pasta HOME MADE! Pizza lotsa cheese. Friendly staff a jug of ice water and lemon served without you having to ask. Lovely relaxing peaceful I could sit under the trees and listen to the sound of birds chirping all day

We stopped here for lunch one Sunday for a bite to eat. Very child friendly with a huge play area in the middle of all the tables and the tables lining the perimeter. Lots trees and shady spots to choose from.

They also have seperate sections for private functions for your kiddies parties and a putt putt course.

Service started off good and I liked that we were brought a jug of water with lots of ice immediately in the heat. But the rest of the time waiters and waitresses were awol and even our food took ridiculously long to arrive and you know when you get told it's another 2 minutes and you still waiting 10 minutes later...

Luckily the food tasted good. I really enjoyed my beef pizza. The crust was thing and crisp. The mince sandwich also wasn't bad. The chicken schnitzel with napolitana sauce was good... very tomatoey just need a bit of spice to kick it up a bit.

Will give them another spot as it's nice sitting outside.
