The food was a great!! The prices are a bit high but the portions are great and the taste is amazing!! Will definitely Go back as soon as payday comes by.

I've been a fan of Thaifoon for almost 4 years and have never been dissapointed. The owner and staff are always welcoming and friendly. The music and setting of the restaurant gives it a genuine Thai feel which is very relaxing and inviting. The food has never dissapointed me either. I would definitely suggest you give this place a visit.

BEST AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD!!! I have been going here for 20 years and it has never let me down. The decor and atmosphere brings a sense of fine dining mixed with a homely vibe. It is also a fabulous place to have a function as the prices are reasonable, especially considering the portion size and the taste and the venue itself is quite big. It is definitely a place on my list.

I'll definitely be back for more. I cannot remember the names of our dishes, but one was chicken no 38 and the other was crispy duck no 78 and was absolutely amazing. Portions are huge and the vibe really awesome, this is going to become a firm favorite for me, I can already tell.

Fantastic menu, exquisite meals and perfect service. An atmosphere that's trendy and a truly friendly staff, chef and owners. Thaifoon is inarguably 5 stars and beats anything I've had in South Africa hands down! Simply authentic Thai and best coffee! I love the fish at this place. Always fresh!

Thaifoon is one of the best restaurants I have been to for both food quality and service. I live in the states and during my first trip to Thaifoon I met the owner John. He helped us choose the best dishes and brought amazing desserts for the table. We went back several times and each time John was there to greet us and provide excellent service and food. John ended up helping me with the project I was in South Africa for and we threw our cast party at the restaurant. Everyone loved the amazing food and had a wonderful time. They also have beautiful vegetarian and vegan options that I love. This was my favorite restaurant in South Africa! The food is so fresh and many of the vegetables and herbs are grown locally.

The food is very tasty. The portions are big enough to share.
The 10 piece combo with chicken satays, spring rolls and sweetcorn cakes is nice to have as a starter.
The duck penang and sweet and sour pork were well prepared and the steamed noodles complimented the dishes.

My wife and I had a great evening with another couple at Thaifoon. We ordered a variety of meals to share amongst us. The 2 dishes that stood out for me were the Phad Thai and beef with peanut sauce. Very nice relaxed vibe and our waiter was very friendly. Will be back soon.
