Naven, our waiter, was the consummate professional.. He was always on-hand & got every dish perfectly on-point.. but was never over-bearing in any way..

I used to walk past Beira due to the steep price point, today I went there to have their lunch special and one would expect small portions or less quality but the opposite happened. The service was great and the food was impeccable, and great value for the lunch special.
Good food and courteous staff who can preempt the needs of patrons. This allowed me to celebrate the occasion with my family in the comfortable restaurant. Thank you.
The lunch time special menu is delicious and really good value for money. Their R99 for 5 king prawns is also amazing - available lunch and dinner! Really impressed - will be back, again...

Busy restaurant, so be prepared to wait for your meals, especially the mains. The food was really good. The trinchado starter was flavourful. The peri peri sauce they use is delicious. Not too overwhelming, just the right balance of heat and flavour. Overall a good experience from starters to dessert.

Rajen was our waiter tonight, attentive and friendly. My dish was different, a Chefs Salad consisting of chicken liver and chorizo and feta ... huge and so good. The other dish was a Portuguese chicken and chips. The chicken was on a diet, not too meaty, sadly. But the flavor was all there.

Fantastic time coming back to this institution. Used to quality of old Monte Casino branch, but was really impressed by experience. Mamas chicken prawn combo excellent and we also had lamb chops which were sublime.

I had the chicken and prawn with their famous sauce and I must say it was the best chicken dish I ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was so so sooo tasty. I also had the virgin strawberry daiquiri, it tasted like it was made with sweet fresh strawberries, literally too divine to be real. This restaurant is exceptional. ๐
The best chicken and prawn combo(A must have). The sauce remains undefeated. I have eaten in many establishments because of my job. Beira has a high standard in the industry with great service, a romantic atmosphere and thee most delicious food.
Lovely ambience and synonymous with quality. Served by Uncle Rajen who really made an effort to make us feel welcome. Ordered a calamari and prawn linguine which delivered exactly as advertised! Creamy and spicy with plenty of prawn and calamari. Clean toilets. Comfortable smoking area. Definitely maintaining a high standard.

Enjoyed a wonderful family lunch in celebration of my Dad's 60th birthday. Our server was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Regrettably I cannot recall his name but he had a lovely demeanor about him. The setting is very fresh and oceanic. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken and prawn stir fried veggies which was absolutely delicious. The calamari starter was cooked to absolute perfection with juicy and tender calamari tubes and heads in a lemon sauce. My mum was vegetarian for the day and enjoyed her veg pasta. Whilst the vegetarian options are few and limited she did enjoy the pasta and the portion was very generous. It was a really great family meal at a lovely restaurant. However I did find it odd that no managers came around to check if we were okay and that our meals were to our satisfaction. Most other restaurants do as a matter of customer service. Just something I noticed but in no way can our meals be faulted. A little on the pricy side but great for a special occasion or treat.
We had such a lovely time here. Firstly, the place is beautiful. The ambience is cozy and the lighting just adds to the warmth of the place. I was very impressed with food,I'm all for flavour and all the dishes I had were flavourful from starter to dessert. The portions will satisfy almost all and our server was spot on. Perfect spot for date night! Will definitely be going back.

First time at Beira. Absolutely amazing atmosphere and ambiance coupled with some of the best food we have ever tasted. Our waiter, Richard, was incredible as well making the experience perfect in every way! From a single visit this has now become a favourite restaurant for my wife and I and we will definitely be back!

Probably the best restaurant that I have been to. Consistent service and food is always a high standard. Very neat and clean, even the toilets. Presentation of the venue is appeasing. Menu is vast and caters for most people, lacks a kids menu but there are many meals suitable for kids. Hot and not enhances the flavours. Always been an enjoyable experience at this venue. Keep it up.
