Great breakfast! We had the bacon, potato rösti’s! It was perfectly made! Bootlegger always makes perfect poached eggs! Friendly service! Always enjoy Bootlegger food & especially the coffee!!

Really awesome flapjacks ... I love that the syrup served on the side and not slapped on the flapjacks. Cappuccino with coconut milk highly recommended. Very creamy 😋😋

A very popular hang out, especially amongst cyclists. Have only tried their coffees and smoothies to date, and remain impressed. Looking forward to the day when we have enough time to stop for a proper meal as their menu looks enticing.

Lovely day in Cape Town, stopped by Bootlegger for lunch after a great hike. I had a flat white and my husband a green smoothie both great. I really enjoyed the the chicken and avocado wrap, my husband got the lamb burger it was good but would suggest adding a sauce. Overall great service from out waitress, also do friendly so that's always a plus😁

My rescue coffee shop stop after a Sunday morning 20km run from Camps Bay to Suikerbossie and back.  Always buzzing, staff have a lot of patience with tired runners and cyclist (even the doggies get served water :) - service is good and the relaxed vibe is fantastic.  Coffee is top nosh.  Always buy something sweet to take home as well as the great Bootleggers own brand coffee capsules!

Bootlegger is like Jerry’s Burgers - consistent, excellent franchises that deserve to follow in Col’Cacchio’s footsteps and become national chains. As with other Bootlegger’s, excellent coffee and juices! See you again whenever I am in the area.

We are Gauteng cyclists in Cape Town for the ill-fated Argus and stopped here on our breakfast ride this morning. What a great spot! Perfectly located on a gorgeous route, with friendly staff and a great vibe even at 7:30am! Great food and good coffee make this a perfect cyclists' spot although it did get a little busy as we sat, which slowed the otherwise amazing service down slightly. Wish this was our local!

Sunday breakfast was yummy aand loved the option to create your own breakfast which is def a win. Amazing coffee here and at all their stores. The food was fresh, warm and full of flavour. Was insane busy but these waiters manage to spin crazy to keep up and making sure to serve you well. The perfect spot after a long early walk or cycle. Def buzzing spot with funky staff, vibes and music. Bootlegger

One of my favourite places to go during of after a cycle/training ride in Cape Town. Doesn't matter if you want coffee, cake or food. Great place to pop in. Will def see more of us for a long time

I've only had the joy of eating here once and it was 6 weeks ago but I'm dying to go back! I was staying in Bakoven and took an easy stroll there on a Friday morning to grab a good coffee. It was meant to be a takeaway but all plans changed when we arrived.

The welcome is so friendly and the staff so helpful that we landed up finding a table and filling up not only on coffee but on breakfast too. The coffee was, as expected, excellent. The breakfast turned out to be truly divine.

I ordered the Salmon Rösti breakfast but replaced the poached eggs with scrambled. I order rösti in fear because it often arrives more as a hash brown or a patty of mashed potato. I've started to lose hope that writers of menus actually understand what it truly is. My hope has been restored!

This is a vibey space frequented by avid cyclists doing a morning ride. It has a great roadside location so isn't your cafe with a sea view but we'd been enjoying plenty of those already. Highly recommended!
