The restaurant is beautifull situated- overlooking the pond with trees.
The food was so good.
We ordered the gourmet burger. It was huge, but the flavours complimented each other really well. The patty was thick and perfectly prepared. We also had the steak and kidney pie. It was lovely! Portions were generous and the dish was full of flavour! Lastly, the battered hake was also very nice. The lemon sauce compliments it very well.
The wine was great value for money! Good wine, even better price.

We went there yesterday with our little girl. She enjoyed the playground and the animals, while we relaxed by doing a tasting. AJ served us and he was outstanding. Very friendly, fun and knowledgeable.
We also enjoyed lunch and the food was excellent.
It is one of our new favorite spots for both adult and child.

Menu a bit unimaginative.
After all these years still one of my favourite Shiraz’s. And the little lake with the weeping willows and the many cute ducks is still there and always a peaceful place to be at - lunch at the deck is relaxing and special. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Beautiful surroundings and setting. Wines however need a lot of improvement in comparison with surrounding cellars. Restaurant is expensive with what is on offer on the menu. Exclusivity does not have to come with a premium. The whole marketing issue should be to lure more feet to your beautiful place. There is a fine balance in exclusivity and good value.
