A hidden gem just of the busy N1. Small town atmosphere, Food was great and people are friendly. Will definitely stop there again.
This place is at the BP garage if you can't locate it. We had breakfast and coffee. The food wasn't amazing, but a simple farmhouse breakfast isn't anything special anyway, but you know how nice it always is first thing in the morning. The coffee is good though. They have a meat section as well, and even though it's frozen, it is great quality and you can't go wrong. From lamb to venison.
We always stop here when we drive through to Bethlehem. I always found the staff friendly and the cashier even brought our (classic takeaway slap) chips to our car. The bathrooms are typically clean, albeit getting a bit worse for wear.
I've decided to rate them on one aspect of my experience: the cabanossi. They sell the best cabanossi I have ever had. I wish I could ship it to Johannesburg.
We received our burgers fast and they were delicious, lovely small business.
