Review Pinch Of Spice - Westville

Wonderful humans run this business, cooking equally wonderful food! If I'm craving authentic Indian food, I go here. My favorite is the palak paneer and the butter chicken/paneer. But honestly, you can't go wrong ordering anything from Pinch of Spice. Delicious, happy-heart food!

Superb selection of traditional Indian meals and snacks, the most delicious freshly prepared food at amazingly affordable prices, worth every cent. You will go back for more, over and over, I did!!!! Moved to more spacious premises and food is as good as always, excellent for a winter meal. Had a veg burger and a paneer burger yesterday, it was absolutely delicious. Great menu and always freshly prepared, perfectly scrumptious. Try the delicious chilli bites, best in town.

Heard about this place through the grape-vine, and what a pleasant surprise! There may be an abundance of Indian food around, but to find quality that would match actual home-made is a rarity. And boy did this place deliver. My only regret, didnt take any photos, but that's just an excuse to go back soon. The mutton curry was delicious, a lot of gravy - a bit oily, but not sickeningly so. Whether with the rice or in a bunny - an absolute delight. The chicken tikka was the best I've had in Durban. Spicy and well cooked. It is prepared as you order so be prepared to wait atleast 30min for it. The samoosas were fresh and crispy. Mince needed a bit more kick to it. The soji was nice, but the dessert to take - Gulab Jamun - sensational!

I had the mixed veg curry... really good!!! It tastes homemade and is flavorful. Hubby had the mutton curry which fell off the bone and was hot and delicious. Thanks Pinch of Spice, it was our first visit and we will certainly be back!

Absolutely devine food!! The owner Feroza is an absolute delight. Bought 2 x 1/4 broad beans bunny and was shocked at the size as most 1/4's are measly in size. It was dripping with gravy and the taste was just amazing ! The full tikka was done to perfection and just as tasty! By far, this is the best authentic Indian restaurant I have been to. And I have been to many! Do yourself a favour and give this place a try! Trust me, you wont be let down ! Good service and food deserves an excellent review Keep it up !

People people people.. I can't even begin to describe the food here.. In my books one of THE BEST curry places to get food from. The chip and cheese roti with gravy is to die for BUT hold bus their bunny chows are MIND BLOWING YES YOU HEARD ME MIND BLOWING. They offer a variety of other food like chicken Tikka always one of my favorites or if you feel like a burger they do it.

The quality of the food is impeccable. Those of you that have eaten Indian cuisine in Indian and wish to have a taste of real authenticity I highly recommend Pinch of Spice. The Chef is consistent and food divine. Had the butter chicken today my only sentiments "zabardast" The Lamb Seekhs were a true experience of Hydrabadi Kebabs, tender melt in your mouth, grilled to perfection. Try it once, and your taste buds will continue to drag you there.
