A great place to visit with your little ones.. lots of space... while you catching up on some work your little ones have access to a playground with lots to do. Waitress was very friendly and helpful when we had questions. My friend and I had breakfast here and for the first time I was delighted to see you could swop your toast for chips. A great affordable Coffee shop to go to.. definitely recommend the Mango icy.. very delicious 😋 definitely will be back

A very chilled space. Good good portions. Friendly staff. There is a kids friendly play area and you can enjoy your meals while kids play. Value for money tasty food.

Great little coffee shop. The food was fantastic. Very well priced. The staff do need a bit more training I feel. Overall a very good and pleasant experience

Went on a Friday afternoon. Very child friendly restaurant. They have a buy one get one free cocktails on Fridays and a excellent burger special also on Friday. Burger was very good. Since I don’t eat pork I wanted to swap the bacon for something else but they could not substitute with anything which was a bit disappointing. So I requested it out on the side and gave it to my friend. But overall was a good experience

Great service , lovley staff , nice atmosphere , but was rather unimpressed with the peanut smoothie , basically tasted like ice water and milk .

Dinner for 8. Buy one get one free special for November... take-outs included. Tasty and oh so well plated. If you eating in, then ask for Patricia who is the best waitress ever...

Great restaurant even though the service is slow. We had a birthday party there, they happily refrigerated the cake, and brought out a large knife side plates and spoons when we asked for the cake after our meal. Very friendly staff, waiter even took photos on our phones for us. They also have a table full of "goodies" for sale, such as choc chip cookies, tubs of sweets, variety of nuts etc. Will definitely be back

Wonderful playground Food was tasty First restaurant I have been to where the children are accommodated that you can relax and keep watching the glassware doesn't get broken... well done

Great for kiddies party's. Didn't try the food but the service was lovely. Prices are very reasonable

Beautiful kids play area, the food took some time to arrive although the sushi was quite good and the service was excellent!

Very good sushi. The children love the playground and rides, it’s just a pity there are no more animals in the enclosure. The service was a bit slow and there were only two other parties and us dining. The kids love it so we will be back.

I love Marula's. It is just up the road from where I live, so it's awesome to take the grandchildren to when they are with me. It has a lovely playground for children, comfy seating as well as picnic tables outside, for families. Today my friend and I had a scone and cappuccinos and my daughter had a huge omelette. Servings really big. The staff were fantastic. Our server was friendly and engaging. My 2 year old granddaughter had a ball on The jungle gym and even had granny climbing up with her. An altogether lovely morning. Quiet during the mornings while school is on but gets quite busy later. Great venue for birthday parties as well.

Really lovely place. . Lots of open spaces. Well suited to having kids and nice comfy chairs and couches for a relaxed lunch. Seriously good sushi. . In actual fact I've only ever had Sushi here. . . Service is not the fastest but that's fine. . You come here to relax and enjoy. . So don't be in a rush. . .

Very cool spot for a good meal.

Not the most glamorous spot but they do good sushi. There is a large kids play area for daytime visits but call ahead if going at night as they do seem to often close early if they aren't particularly busy on a night. Pricing and service reasonably good most times.

Lovely afternoon spent having sushi at Marulas. We had such a friendly waitress and the sushi was great and was served so nicely as well. I do suggest maybe planting some grass/mondo grass around the play area however, to stop the sand from blowing around when it’s windy but thanks for the great service and sushi Marulas!

Took my mum for brekkie before my dress fitting on Maryvale. The place was empty but the breakfast was good. We had a small meal but it did fill us up. We were served quite quickly and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Wouldn't go there again even if the food was free. Been there a grand total of 2 times as I wanted to make sure it wasn't an off day and give them the benefit of the doubt but there was no differenceThe service is terrible and the kids entertainment area is not safe, its in very poor condition and you can see is not looked after or maintained. The staff are rude and unhelpful, the last time i was there, there was a staff member there whom is clearly a new mom, who clearly doesn't care for simple food hygiene and basically carries out her motherly duties where the food is being prepared. Went to complain about the service and was told the manager was not in.... which I was later told by another patron, was the usual caseThe menu is very sub par and extremely, extremely expensive for what you are getting. The thing is you wouldn't mind paying some of those prices if it was spectacular. Their sushi isn't to badly priced but there are much better places where you can get a superior quality sushi and better service.In closing, if you are looking for a place to go with you husband for a special occasion, go elsewhere... if you are looking for a place to go with your kids and family... IMO rather take them to Spur

I made a dinner reservation to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend, his treat. <br/>I called at about 10am and booked it for 7pm, as Google displays the hours as 9am to 9pm. <br/>I got home after work and started to get ready; got picked up by my boyfriend and we headed to Marulas, we got there just at 7pm, to a pretty empty parking lot, we walked through the small gate and up the stairs, to a young lady mopping the floors and 1 table occupied. <br/>We were then told that they were closing at 8pm, we went for Sushi.<br/>When I made the reservation I gave the young lady over the phone my name and cell phone number, but I never received any call to say that they would be closing early. I was highly disappointed with the fact that I couldn't enjoy any kind of hospitality at Marulas where I had in fact made a booking. <br/>Our only other option was to go to John Dory's; although I was disappointed with the service I thoroughly enjoy my sushi and the vibe at JOHN DORY'S where I did NOT make a reservation.<br/>Big ups Marulas... don't think I'll be back ! <br/><br/>No photo's, due to the fact that I spent all of 5 minutes in the presence of your staff!

An hour and a half to wait for breakfast. Kids starving, not even busy. Absolutely ridiculous. What a terrible experience. Ingredients also missing from omelette. Really suggest these people get someone to advise them on how to run a restuarant. After complaining we got no response from the manager. Tried to get resolution before going to social media but to no avail.

The Perfect spot if you have kids needing to run off excess energy and you needing time out with your girlfriends. A regular lunch and admin work work spot for me. Food is always tasty and sushi is great! From toasted sandwiches to burgers, pastas, steaks and Portuguese dishes. Not open on Mondays though.
