Nice place with absolutely great service. I feel like the food is a bit too over priced tho It would be understandable if it was just the sea food but it's all of it.

A not-so-busy lunchtime. We just drove in from Gauteng and opted for this place. Unattentive amd disorganised staff. Took more than 10 minutes to get menus. No bread and condiments for 20 minutes. Confusion with kitchen staff shouting at waiting staff. Takes over 15 minutes for dirty tables to be cleaned and reset. I'm still waiting for food 30 minutes after ordering and for someone to notice that we want to order more water... never again...

We came here for lunch one day and were a little disappointed. It took quite a while for us to be served and we were starving. The waiter eventually came and was so busy looking around she kept getting our order wrong. The food was good. I had the calamari and chips and it was fresh and tasty. But when we had to pay we waited another 10mns.

Took ten minutes before a trainee noticed we were looking for anyone to serve us. No Manager in sight the whole time we were there. Food was good and came fast but service was horrible.

Good food and good service after the revamp and change of ownership. Sushi is actually on point compared to some of the more famous sushi places in umhlanga and dbn north

Terrible food, service.. Even the coffee. Worst ever. Never going back. We couldn't even finish half of what we had ordered. They don't sell alcohol. I know Ocean Basket has the freshest everything but something is wrong with this one
