Friendly service and staff are so welcoming. It's always a pleasure to visit Grillfather Mitchell's Plain. Food is always fresh and scrumptious. I'm impressed by the covid-19 safety protocols after placing your order your meal gets delivered straight to your car.
Waiting for my meal didn't take so long was very impressed by the staff's professionalism not only were they friendly but quick to assist you.The proprietor of this establishment should be very proud of them.Thanx you guy's for the smiles and helpfulness.The cherry on the cake was the tjek burger I'm speechless it stood up to it's name.Keep up the good work you guys and looking forward to the opening of the Wynberg branch.You will continuously get the support of my family and friends.You make Kaapstad,Tjekstad.God bless.

So I decided to finally pop in at the Grillfathers food outlet in Mitchell's Palin as I've heard quite about the "Tsek" burger and seeing thay it was birthday decided to treat myself before the night started. I had some jalapeno poppers, the "Tsek" burger and meal for my kids and wife. To my surprise the burger my wife ordered(boss burger) it didnt have the cheese and mushroom sauce as requested, o called them and explained. The same lady who served me,spoke to me and immediately apologised and said she will revert back to me asap. Soon after that she called and apologised again and said she will have them deliver a complimentary burger with the goodies I requested... I expected it to take some time and to my amazement the delivery came soon. I ADMIRE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE , ITS BETTER THAN MOST FOOD CHAIN OUTLETS so big ups to the owner. As for taste and everything, its freaking awesome!, really enjoyed it and definitely worth it for the type of gourmet burger you get, meat is not overcooked etc, nice portions and very well priced. I will definitely be returning to them! Well done Grillfather.
Very welcoming. It has a Cape Townian feel to it. The food is filling and well presented.
If you have that loud growling feeling of hunger or just wanna snack on something scrumptious. Then Grillfather is a must to satisfy that void. With delicious fresh foods made to send your tastebuds to heaven and come back for more.

We've been waiting for the veggie aka naked leaf burgers for a while now and it was well worth the wait. My son is pescatarian so the veggie options are perfect for him, but I had a taste and they are delicious! The beetroot one was my favourite, but he absolutely loved the lentil and mushroom burger. Can't wait to have more.

Local is Lekker and the TSEK burger is something to write home about. Reviews are correct that this is bringing Gourmet to the locals
