If you put all the old and rustic stuff together with an artist eye, it makes a beautiful and interesting picture. The owner is super friendly and helpful.

Melkkan is very refreshing, to get out of town into nature and experience something fresh and new in art and all the love what surrounding this place, you feel safe and secure, the food and the way they served it is also very nice and beautiful, you can have fun with the different booths etc for photography. Friendly host.

Hidden wonderland. It appears that the Welkom locals have a secret family venue just outside of town. This is really a kids wonderland and a brilliant place to relax. Good food and drink available too. We stayed for 3 nights in the bungalows... and the whole experience was a great family get away. We will be back for sure.

There's a lady called Wilmien, what a sweetheart. When you want to escape city life and get in touch with nature this is the place to go to. You'll hear birds chirping and horses neigh. The best moment for me is the lions roar in the middle of the night.
