Review Urban Eatery - Vereeniging

Pleasant surprise this place. We had tapas and it was lovely. Every dish tasty and well presented. Only reason why I didn't rate it above a 4 is because it was a little scruffy outside and no music. Service was good enough but not much friendly engagement from staff.

As always....the best food, prepared and presented to perfection. The snails were so expertly prepared, I almost finished it before remembering to take pics! The hake was divine - juicy and perfectly coated and seasoned served with fluffy mash and smooth lemon butter. The lemon grenadilla cheesecake was beautifully presented and just the right size. Great and efficient service by the waiter making sure this was an absolutely delicious afternoon!

I enjoyed every moment…the food and atmosphere?to die for❤️My sister enjoyed her baby shower…I’m happy with everything except for music.

Four kitchens in one restaurant. So everyone can have something to choose from. The food is good and the service is great. I always stop by when im in Kenya. I had the butter chicken. It was fantastic.

First off, EXCELLENT FOOD! We ordered the creamy prawn pasta and the the Mobster pizza - both were super delicious! The only reason I have not awarded 5 stars is because of a few things: • The menu said the pizza was served with rocket, and it didn't come with any. It also said the Creme Brûlée was served with a biscuit, but it didn't. Also, the portion sizes were a tad bit small. • The restaurant is divided in smoking and non-smoking sections, but they are like completely different restaurants. The non-smoking section is old-fashioned and doesn't have any atmosphere. We eventually moved to the smoking section, and just sat close to the door - it was awesome. It is modern, vibey and even had live music.

Had a wonderful and cozy evening. The service was impeccable and so were the food and drinks. The menu is reasonably priced as well. Ample parking and there is security which puts you at ease. I'll definitely be recommending this place and visiting again soon! 👍🏾

I have been there quite a few times and has never been disappointed! Tonight we ordered the seafood platter special and wow! It was so delicious and just too much! Positive critique: maybe you can just put pamphlets of your specials on the tables or let your waiters tell customers about it. We know because we liked you on facebook but not everybody knows.

First time here, Happy was such a great waiter full of energy but still very professional, food was top notch! will defenetaly go back!!! keep it up.

What a nice place! Loved the fresh and warm Focaccia we received as a snack before the food, amazing!!!! The Eisbein and Tapas was over the top!! The service of the staff was awesome!! Will see you again!

Finally a restuarant in Vereeniging that is so classy and the food is amazing!!!! Staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! Lindsay you have done so well!!!! My new fav place to eat!

The Urban Cheese burger is a must have. So is the The Mobster pizza. Great service too. Will be definitely be back �

it was nice being there, but the feeling we got was that the #smoking area was a place meant only for whites and in there it was nicer , it had a bar, and a big screen tv , it was warmer in there, all the blacks were in the other room that was dullish not welcoming enough .. but we went to sit in the smoking area that's when we felt we were at a restaurant, the food was good, even though the fish bowl had too much ice in it... the prices are reasonable

It's my 1st time here: Staff is professional and friendly. Menu is very easy to go through, food well presented and tastes just as it looks. I'm very happy, I'll be making regular visits
