Best restaurant in Velddrift! Chicken pasta, rump steak, bitterbolletjies, chocolate cake - ALL EXCELLENT! Our waiter - Jacobus - was super attentive, legend actually, knows his menu. Don’t bother anywhere else if you short on ideas and new to town.
Food and service was great! My only minor issue is it's loud inside. The bar where they prepare drinks is right there, so the blender keeps blaring, and a loud table was next to us (not their fault). But yes, awesome pizza, decent milkshake, will dine here again :D

This is the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I eat a lot of pizza and it beats anything made and sold in Cape Town. The milkshake is ALSO the best I've ever had. Great service. Delicious and well prepared food. Homemade ice cream selection that changes often and that's really good. The fish and chips is a must try as well as the mushroom pasta and also the mussels. Great value for money.

Upmarket yet casual. Relaxed ambience with great service. Reasonably priced, varied menu. Food freshly prepared and portions are decent. Tasty, quality ingredients. Great views and safe plentiful parking. The stunning gas flame patio heaters are fabulous for the winter chill. Smoking and non smoking
Lovely little brewery. Food was good and the atmosphere was great . Loved the style / art work at this place . You can taste all five of their in house beers for R50 and if beer is not your thing they have a wide selection of cocktails and wines . A definite stop when visiting port owen marina .
Unbelievably great, freshly-prepared food. We had fish and chips with fantastic tartare sauce and mushy peas. The fried fish was next-level and the potato wedges mind-blowing. As an avid home cook and foodie I highly recommend Charlie's Brewhouse.
Juiciest beef burger .. done just right medium rare.. nothing additional required... cheesy goodness with house pickles ... absolutely one of the best burgers by far @charliesbrewhouse

Not very busy on a Wednesday out of season but must be very good in season. Food well presented and very tasty. Service was excellent served by Tatum who looked after our table ably. Thank you Tatum.
