Was the best food and service experience we had in a long time. Everything was delicious from the bread to the chicken liver to the calamari and the Sole!!!! Stephen Harward were wonderful guest and we also got to visit the orchids nursery.
We will definitely come back soon for more excellent food. And I am French so I know about delicate meals and I had nothing to complain, only enjoyed all of it.
I only went to the plant section. Absolutely stunning range of exotic plants and beautiful rare orchids, looking forward to going again soon
Most beautiful, tranquil, it is the most peaceful place to be. The management and staff are helpful and friendly. I was honoured to display my gifting as I love doing decor and catering. The meal served was super and professionally presenting.
I am recommending the venue to friends and family and hope to see you soon.

I always order my orchid flasks and my orchids from this amazing establishment!!! They are so welcoming and they have the most spectacular orchid nursery filled with rare beautiful orchids as well as very rare exotics. PS: go on the nursery tour. You will love it!
Stephward Estate is a little piece of Heaven surrounded by magnificent gardens. When one enters the Estate you are greeted by the owners, Stephen and Howard who are so welcoming and friendly. My friends and I love going for wonderful luncheons at the Restaurant overlooking the pool. The food is always superb and the service is excellent. My compliments to the chef, Stephen. I love wandering through the nurseries. There is an incredible collection of Exotic plants, Orchids, Hoyas and every plant that your heart desires! I'm delighted that Stephward Estate has opened its doors again after the long Covid 19 lockdown. Now I can again look forward to spending many happy hours there. Stephen and Howard, you rock!

It was my first visit and we had been looking for a place to eat when we came across it on google search. The word for my experience there is astounding.It was such an incredible place from the very entrance to the exit. Sitting down for lunch at the pool side with those staggering large pillars made me feel like i was transported to Italy or a countryside in France. No exaggeration they place is amazing and if you love romantic settings or want to reconnect with nature this is the place to go to.
Stephan and Howard along with Ignatia were so inviting that you feel like you dining with friends more than being patrons at a restaurant.
They are incredible people and when they say it is an exotic nursery be prepared for an experience.Howard is so knowledgeable about his plants and even though i am an avid gardener i was put to shame by everything he knows.
This is a place to be and visit and i am waiting to try out their accommodation but i will let you know this ...If you want to meet great people and have good laughs then visit them and you will become guests for life.
My husband and i will definitely be making reservations for our weekly sunday dates there. So give it a try and you will never regret it.
The food is great and try the potatoe soup , it is finger licking good.

What a wonderful find. The thousands of orchids, bromeliads and anthuriams are magnificent! The owner took us on a tour and shared his knowledge and insights before treating us to breakfast, tea, scones and cake. Definitely worth a visit!

Stunning gardens, food to die for, and beautiful accommodation in tranquil setting. Have been a guest here many a time and can never wait to return. Can't say enough about this awesome venue.
The greenhouse tour was very insightful! If its orchids you're interested in, its worth the R25 per person which gets deducted from your restaurant bill. Highly recommend.

Our family have been going to Stephward Estate for quite a few year's and realy became to now Howard and Stephane to awsome people that are more than willing to help you, they even organize my sons engagement party at night , thay went out of there way to make it special for him , well what can i say more the food is 5 star the venue is 5 star the plants thay selling is 5 star and the the most inportent people that run the establishment is 5 start Thanks Howard and Stephane for many years and i hope to visit you for many more have a awsome day till we see you next time we visit the coast
