What a nice place! Quick service and good food - enjoyed the hearty bowl with potato cubes, bacon bits and scrambled eggs. Perfectly presented in enamelware "blikbord" and "blikbeker"
Fantastic atmosphere! True 'Karoo' hospitality with the most characterful menu! A place of stories! Even 'Mermaids' ..'.ghosts' that left and a flashback to the past! Had a very good time..well worth the effort to turn into Uniondale!!

Absolutely brilliant. Actually closed when we arrived and the owner opened just for us and then couldn’t do enough. You don’t often see service like that these days.

Beautiful place. We had breakfast with roosterkoek. Very generous portions and bottomless coffee. Well worth a visit. They also have unusual knitted toys for the little ones

Super cafe restaurant in Uniondale with gorgeous gardens, pool, mountain views and tables under a stunning 200 yr old Pepper tree. Fair prices menu and delightful service. Ideal for families.
We stayed in guesthouse. If you go to Uniondale, this is the place to stay.
The owner is friendly, rooms very clean and breakfast serve with home made bread and marmalade. We enjoy our stay.
Great place to stop. Friendliest staff, great outdoor area next to the swimming pool and safe parking. Enjoyed the traditional food.

Cute place. Typical small Karoo town vibe. Nice shaded area at the back to enjoy some coffee, tea or something to eat. Friendly people!
