Enjoyed our late lunch, went in a group ordered a combination of steak and seafood. Everything was good, no complaints.

Personally no complaints. I've had the lamb chops. They were done the way I like them with a generous portion of chips. My friend didn't enjoy her prawn stuffed Calamari. But overall a good experience. 👍

Had a lovely team lunch here this afternoon. The staff were brilliant. We had a group of 20 people and the orders ranged from starters to mains and dessert and different drinks and there were no mix ups. Our waiters were spot on with all the orders and so friendly and ready to assist us. The meals were absolutely divine! Very healthy portion sizes as you can see from the photos below. See photo labels for descriptions of each dish. A must visit in my opinion for a really hearty delicious meal with excellent service! Superb Adega Gateway! Keep it up 👌🏼

Must visit restaurant. Their LM style chicken is simply out of the world. Whenever we are in Durban we ensure to have our maximum meals from here.

Great service, great food, platters are good value for money. Indeed you get what you pay for. Team Adega keep doing what you're doing. Was there on the 1st of August I highly recommend trying the Summer sizzler! Deliciously generous portions!

It has been a while since we ate at Adega, and there might have been a few tweaks on the menu, but the food still tastes great! We tried their Chicken pasta, which was creamy, with the option of linguine or penne pasta, & the Chicken strips & rice, it was marinated in a slightly spice sauce and you have a choice between the chips or the rice. We did ask if they do half chips and half rice, and our waiter said unfortunately not. I would suggest that a half & half on the sides, could be added in as an option. Budget for two people +-R300.

The menu is very unprofessional as it has advertisements in there which clutters it .The garlic rolls and tempura prawns were mediocre and the halloumi cheese starter was great . The salaad was served with poor effort and a very low quality of lettuce drawning in water . The steak was tender was tender and pleasing . The chicken pasta was better then the prawn pasta The prawns, chicken and fish in hot were rich and tasty I preferred it over the mild .

Delicious food and generous portions. Ideal Halal family restaurant. Gateway Mall has ample parking, so parking is definitely not a problem.

What a lovely atmosphere for a weekday lunch time treat. Efficient and great service and food. Their chicken is amazing. Highly recommend.

Food was great, service was decent, it is a bit pricey compared to other nearby restaurants and theres a fixed 10% service added after the meal but the food portion is quite large and makes up for it.

Absolutely horrible !! We were attracted to the pizza and pasta special ..the pizza was dry with a few pieces of chicken .it was extremely hard to bite into . Also ordered the steak ..asked for well done and got served a raw steak ..pink on the inside . To top it all the waiter then comes to ask us for our pickled chillies as he had seen that we hardly used it so we agreed for him to take it away .My mum who sat facing the kitchen could see what was happening clearly ,the waiter took the pickle he just put it on a new saucer and then served it to another customer and mind you we did taste the chilies and we had put our forks into that pickle ..it’s disgusting how the waiter could have done that ..this means it’s a regular activity .We had called the manager to make him aware of this and he was completely surprised about it which you could see was so fake and we had told him not to cover up for the waiter because we are sure that he is aware of this happening .We didn’t want anything in return we just wanted them to correct their mistakes and abstain from doing such because it is very unhealthy to serve somebody else’s left over to another customer .Ninos gateway is an absolute put off.From their food to their service I was disgusted .

It is the worst place to ever go to...T-bone steak was rotten and smelling,how it left the kitchen I don't know. Chicken Alfredo was bland and terrible the chicken tasted boiled....your service is revolting!!!! Never again

Food was nothing like it was portrayed to be on the menu. Staff and managers we not really interested in the customers and totally ignored any negative comments. 100% to be avoided. Wish I'd read all the negative reviews before giving them a try

2 x social bean breakfast which is excellent value for money + steak breakfast and a scrambled eggs breakfast. Overall food was very good. Scone after was poor and service was average which drags the rating to 3.

Absolutely horrendous experience. This Nino’s in particular has always had terrible service, but this time was much, much worse. Went for a quick bite, however we were in a rush and the food was taking longer than expected. We decided to cancel the order for our meal and just pay for the drinks. One of the workers (presumably the manager) told us that we had only been waiting a couple minutes (even though we had been there for quite awhile). When we left, she followed us out with one of the Gateway security guards, saying that we had to pay for the meal we never received. She refused to listen to us, and after a heated argument we were forced to pay for the meal. The most ridiculous situation. Will definitely never be going back there again.

Food was decent. However we had to seat ourselves as the waiters stood at the door looking at us. Then we had to wait forever for a bill to arrive after finishing our lunch. We ended up getting up and going inside to pay.

Arrived for breakfast and was really disappointed with the service. Although it wasn't busy there was a long wait for everything. Waitrons were not really interested. Food was mediocre and had to be sent back to be redone.

Got served expired Creme Soda 😷Very disappointed in this franchise as this was not my first time getting served expired drinks. The food was decent enough.

I really enjoy a good breakfast, and when I'm in KZN my go-to breakfast joint is always Nino's, specifically the one at Gateway Theatre of Shopping! I've yet to have a bad experience here, with such an amazing hospitality team from the waiters/waitresses to the managers. Excellent value for money and excellent meal choices. See you soon Nino's!

Nino's has quite an extensive menu, which is great! You can either dine inside or outside the cafe. The service was good and the waiter was friendly. The garlic bread was amazing. I had the Chicken Alfredo Pasta. The sauce was creamy and it was a delicious meal. You can also purchase Kupcake Heaven's baked goodies at Nino's.

My first ninos and probably my last. My meal was not pleasant at all. It was first served without vegetables, after being sent back it was returned with the most dismal vegetables I have ever seen. Mushy bland... everything was bland. Which was rather disappointing because it looked wonderful on the menu. I should also note my beer was flat and service was indifferent. I do not recommend this place at all

We had a favourito Tramezzini with Haloumi instead of bacon. This was a bad choice as it was tasteless. I suggest that you remove it from your menu as a veg option. We should have gone for one of the other two veg options. My guest asked for 2 fried eggs and tea with cold milk. He got one egg and tea with hot milk!

We sat upstairs,started of with a guy who was friendly and he was just about to finish his shift as we arrived, so he introduced the lady who was going to help us. Lily who we hardly saw. <br/>Service was NIL.This was now another lady in the picture.<br/>Then we ordered drinks which took a while to come ok fine but then wait it got worse.<br/>We ordered wings and garlic cheese bread, they were ok nothing wow. Chips were great!<br/>As mains we ordered pasta and Tbone. <br/>While eating our starter there was no salt on the table and boom another waiter came with our mains, we were not asked if we were ready for the next course nobody checked us nothing!!! <br/>Because we were not finished as yet our food was taken back and forth and ended up in a warmer "until we were ready".<br/>We lost our appetite there and there and took a doggy bag instead. <br/>We left!! Not coming back so disappointed!!!<br/>

I can't say that I was pleased with Nino's. My chicken was dry and the pizza was just average. Although the bunks have very comfy cushioned seats, you sink so far into the seat that it's difficult to reach up to the table to eat.

Veggie meal at Ninos Gateway. Their Nachos weren't as spicy usual, a bit plain but they were still good and hit the spot since I was craving nachos. Thier veggie basket was super yummy. It contained crumbed mushrooms, veggie fingers, halloumi, fried onion rings, a dip and chips. Really filling. A great veg feast especially coming from someone who hates vegetable!

Located at Gateway in Umhlanga; Ninos revamped & upgraded the restaurant to reveal a stunning new kit and fabulous menu to go with it. Loved the different breakfast options that are unique & a pure delight! Every item on the menu with its high gloss photos makes you drool in anticipation - and the food does nit dissapoint! Spectacular!!

In general Nino's food is bland. The franchise needs a make over and serious change in the menu. I've had a few items on the menu and they were all very average. But the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The desserts and cakes are also ok. Not a must try.

An ok spot to grab a quick bite to eat offering simple cafe food. Service rather horrendous as waiters lack customer engagement skills. Food was ok but nothing I would run back to.<br/><br/>

Went to Gateways and shopped until we dropped at Ninos for good pastas. Wow although restaurant was quite it was great food and service attentive.

The milkshakes are really good, they interior looks great after the revamp, however I had an awful experience with my breakfast. I ordered poached eggs and received them completely covered in black bubbles on the underside ???? It was truly disgusting but the waiter said that that is how it is served.

Our recent visit to Ninos Gateway was a wonderful experience. There were 5 of us and it did not take too long for the main course to arrive at the table. The food was great and one has to try the mushroom sauce ,which we think was very special.Thanks to the staff and we wish to see you soon.Robby, Betsey, Damien, Tifanny and Tristan.

Nino's Gateway , very friendly and caring staff! Our waiter was helpful and caring. The service was great! And even the food was to our expectation! Atmosphere was perfect! I never had a problem and walked out pleased and happy...<br/><br/>#KeepUpTheGreatService!!!

I mostly go through on weekends, and don't usually wait to be seated. The Food always arrives quickly although their staff could do well to make you feel less like just another table to turn.<br/><br/>In terms of food quality this branch and moses mabhida are definitely my preferred branches. I always go back for the portobello tramezzini, it is delicious!<br/>The pasta is also good, and a light portion is enough to fill me up with some left for takeaway.<br/><br/>Their melon smoothies are delicious and refreshing, I shy away from the cake offering since I have often been disappointed with dry, boring cakes.
