Review Casa Bella Pearl Walk - Umhlanga

We decided through The Entertainer app to come here. Booking was easy online and confirmation immediately. The place has a beautiful view and the ambiance is great. Food was good and the staff very friendly. Loved the little salted mini breads they served before your meal. What more do you want for a nice dinner!

We had a lovely evening here. Steaks were done to perfection. And I love the complimentary little fried bread they give. Service was a little slow unfortunately. If they speed it up a bit, this place would be a 5 star Italian restaurant. The staff were attentive and the manager is really nice

As we walked towards this establishment, we were met with smiles, we already had an idea that it would be an interesting experience. We approached the hostess and she was ever so welcoming (I didn't manage to get her name, but wow!) She ensured we were seated where we wanted to and reassured me that if I'm not comfortable I can move, which alone made me so content. FRANCIS the amazing waiter that assisted us, he noticed us be seated, and already had complimentary fritters when he came to introduce himself. We were in a bit of a hurry and had already studied the menu prior to arriving, so we knew what we wanted, and he ensured that our meals arrived quickly. The meals were executed to absolute perfection even though it had been prepared so quickly. I'm someone that faults things easily, but I left super satisfied. We made use of the ENTERTAINER app, and the staff ensured that everything was executed perfectly. I can go on, but words wouldn't do justice to the amazing experience we had, staff, food and ambiance gets a 10/10 from us! Go on and experience it for yourself

Tracy, the host is extremely welcoming and accommodating. Our waiter was very pleasant and paid alot of attention to detail. The food was superb and came out quite soon after having placed our order.

First time visit at this restaurant and it was a great experience. The staff are attentive to your needs and requests. Head chef was making his rounds and asking on the food with a smile on his face. Food was great tasting. Filleto pizza was sweet and savory with decent amount of toppings. Veg pizza was good as well. Had the tiramisu milkshake and although it didn't taste anything like a tiramisu it was thick and delicious. Prices are that what you expect from an umhlanga location but worth it. Will be visiting again for their pastas and steaks.

Fantastic meal and attentive service! Grateful to have our first visit as a set menu offer to narrow down our choices on a menu full of our favourite dishes. The mussels starter is unmissable and the Alfredo unforgettable. We don't often do dessert, but the chocolate fondant is worth making space for!

Good food, good service, big portions, nice vibe. Will definitely come back. Quite a few vegetarian options available.

Good quality pizzas and pastas , probably one of the better views and store layouts in Umhlanga . Perfect to visit during late afternoon , so outside can be enjoyed . Service is generally quite good , and wood fired pizza is amazing . Pastas are cooked to taste and pizzas offer unique Flavours that are not easily offered in other pizza restaurants. worth a try .

Stunning venue with very friendly and welcoming staff. Cuisine is delicious and well priced. Atmosphere is ambient and relaxing. Visited 4 times already, will be visiting again this weekend. Keep up the great work Casa Bella team

Food was good. Margarita pizza and Salmon pasta were well prepared. Excellent service.

Was there on father's day.....food was not good, sweet potatoes still hard menu says grilled( was no where near grilled) steak was not done the way I asked!!!!! I asked to waiter to doggy bag my food.....And the waiter demanded a higher tip..... and not from me but from my husband and it was father's day btw..... not a pleasant experience enjoyed my previous visit..... won't be back and I won't advise anyone else to either...... felt like food thrown on a board!!!!

Great service but the food is not what the set up is entitled to. Unfortunately the Magarita pizza we had was average as they did not add any herbs which is vital to make a Magarita different and unique. The seafood was below average, chewy, rubber, bland and undersized for calamari. Doubt I will visit again. I had visited prior and the prawns were more like something fishermen would use as bait, bland, really small and sticky like bait. Thought I would give them another chance but would not be back.

Casabellapearls HUGELY disappointed with the food we got yesterday, took my folks there for lunch, telling them best pizza in the world, well yesterday it was the worst! AND for the price you pay, sorry we won't be back! Oh and don't get me started on the R19 for a small tin of dry lemon! REALLY! disgusting!

Very very very bad experience on Christmas Day. Service very poor as the drinks took forever. Finally when the food arrived it was ice cold and definitely not according to their standards. Excuse from management was they had a lot of big tables which is totally unacceptable. Food was not appetizing at all and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very very poor service and quality of food

Service was pretty good - Shelvin (sp?), our waiter, took special care to ensure we got what we wanted - even bowl after bowl of freshly chopped chilies! :) The pizza bases are soooo yummy, we even devoured the crusts - no yucky burnt edges; and as for the toppings, they are absolutely perfect! I chose the fillet pizza on one half and a gorgonzola on the other; Thandi had a carne on one half and a Milano (avo, bacon) on the other - and then we swapped slices. The end result was a heavenly feast of note accompanied, of course, with much Du Toit's Kloof cab/shiraz!!!! Thanks Casa Bella - we'll most definitely be back soon!!

Disappointed again. We tried this place when it first opened and the service was really bad, almost a year later we gave it a second chance and service has not improved. Ordered a cosmo, was told they were low on cramberry juice and i must order something else, who got the last of the juice? Why wasnt i allowed it? Flies kept harassing us at the table. I ordered one thing and got another, took 20 minutes to get our waiter back (she disappeared) and was told that that was exactly my order and couldnt figure out what was wrong. She brought the menu and still couldnt fathom why the food was wrong even though she confirmed that i ordered one thing and got another. Eventually sorted that out. Bill came and we were charged double for my sisters meal! Not even mine that had to be remade. Every time we got the bill we only wanted a couple minutes to check it and so had to send away the waiter who was so eagerly standing over us. She disappeared again and after 10 minutes of trying to get someone to help she comes running. Its such a pity because the food is so great, especially the fritas, we’ll try again in a year i guess.
