Excellent steak and calamari. Service was good and also quite fast. Slight let down by no deliveries of the ribs and fillet on the bone, so couldnt order those. Good setting and atmosphere though. Would definately go back

This place serves the most amazing steak. The service is also great. The place has a fine dining look and feel, so not just any steakhouse kind of place. Definitely worth a visit.

Upmarket steakhouse conveniently located on the outside of The Pearls shopping centre, close to the beach. The steaks are spectacular and all served with starch and complimentary creamed spinach and butternut. Try the specialist options on the menu, like the Chateau Briand and the Carpetbagger. Absolutely divine!

First time visiting this location and restaurant and won't my last. Great food and view overlooking parts of the sea and umhlanga. Portions are decent size for the price paid with them specializing in steaks. Cocktails are also good. Limited vegetarian options though.

Excellent service,prices & quality. A must see for all. The owner and his staff are extremely pleasant individuals who are experts in there field. Other restaurants should take lessons from Cattle Baron. THE best service we've ever recieved at any restaurant. If you haven't tried it...you're losing out.

Great Food Great Consistent Service and Quality

This was a clean environment. Upmarket and welcoming. The staff were friendly and efficient. Lighting is calm and relaxing. Great selection of background music. Neat Set-Up. Not forgetting the wonderful menu with Specials for each day of the week. Our meal was delightful. Highly recommended.

Cattle Baron in Umhlanga. My little sister is visiting from Joburg and she always says that the other sister and I keep saying how good Cattle Baron is but we have never taken her to. So off to Cattle Baron we went to for dinner this Saturday evening. I'm so glad that we had made a reservation because they were fully booked out. We had a friendly waitress who was so helpful. We asked for the complimentary bread rolls but alas they did not have any to our disappointment. We had the crumbed mushrooms for a starter. It was great, in my opinion this the only place that gets the crumbed mushroom right. My 2 sisters had the lamb chops which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had the spinach crepes and this was absolutely yummy for a vegetarian dish. The youngest sister cannot go out and not have dessert so she had the creme brulee. I managed to steal a few bites from her and it was absolutely sublime. The ambience was great as they had live music which added to the festive season vibe. Will definitely visit again.

Steaks were amazing, done exactly to your liking. Food came fast and well presented. Ill definitely be back for my next steak craving. Only reason why its 4* is waiting staff need to be more attentive and friendly

Black crusted peppered Rump was best I have had anywhere. Cooked to perfection. Family enjoyed their ribs, fillet and chicken too. Power issues delayed service a little but great ambiance so did not matter.

Best meat / steaks in Umhlanga Rocks. Live band on Friday and Saturday.

Ohhhhhh my God talk about fine dining👌👌, best experience ever. Loved it, so sorry for not taking pics but dope🔥🔥, and the service ohh my God best service we got. The twins were the best. Cattle Baron gets five stars from me.
