Great food, inside and outside seating, nice and vibrant with a perfect menu for those early morning or late lunches. Great coffee and big sizes available for the coffee drinkers. Great food and very good service. Enjoyed the view and surroundings. When we back in the area will most definitely be back for more

Name changed to Mediterraneo but the quality hasn't changed. Best pizza in town by a long shot! Great breakfast too. Service is always good. Tables on the pavement best for people watching. Absolutely love this place

Excellent service. Went there daily for breakfast while on vacation. Had the same waitress for all those days. She made a point of remembering all our preferences and all the other staff members were very attentive and helpful

Lovely place. Food good. I usually come for breakfast in the morning when in Umhlanga. Unfortunately they seem to have a new manager. Now the music is load and noisy in the morning. The manager promised to change it and turn it down, but this did not happen. Load noisy music in the morning really spoils any breakfast.<br/>

I felt I needed to write something about Europa. We have been coming down to Umhlanga for years now, as we have time share at a popular resort . I can say that Europa has been incredibly consistent with their amazing food and excellent service. We have almost ever had bad service or food from here. <br/>Yesterday my husband and I had lunch here. To start we had the garlic and herb focaccia. Absolutely Devine, the base is so incredibly tasty. I had the full portion Romeo and Juliet salad, my husband had the haloumi wrap. The salad was packed with flavor and fresh lettuce and Devine cherry tomatoes that were lightly grilled. The chicken was tender and just as tasty. My husband polished off the wrap, it was jam packed with freshness! He really enjoyed it. Our waitress was so attentive, management always visible. Highly recommended, and like I say we have been coming here for years and we are never disappointed.

Atmosphere is amazing. My favourite meal to get from here is breakfast. The salmon eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce is simply delicious! Looking forward to my next visit

Had the Tre tenorio breakfast, it was delicious. The plate is quite huge, can be shared actually. I only had a problem with the steak, tasted like they just killed the cow a few hours ago. But delicious breakfast nonetheless

This was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Poached egg, health bread, avo-tomato-red onion salsa, tsatziki, haloumi, mushrooms - what more could you ask for? 😍

Sunday morning breakfast at Europa in Umhlanga Village wasn't a bad option although service was a bit on the inattentive side even though it was quiet. For some reason the waitress didn't want to leave the menu at the table or take my additional order after I placed my first one. <br/>The mushrooms on toast with split peas was surprisingly delicious but would have been even better if I could have ordered the extra poached egg I wanted. <br/>+0.5 point for the Gaby's hot sauce!

friendly, good quick service, pasta is fresh, delicious and tasty, been 4 times on this holiday and always is not disappointing. Willing to be flexible and change things around. Good value for money. Generous portions. <br/>

If you like a nice crispy thin base pizza with delicious toppings then you will definitely enjoy Europa. The cocktails are good too. Excellent service. And so close to the beach!

Love this Europa's openness. Doors are wide open with side bay windows.. Sit inside or on the side walk creating a very chilled "at the beach feel".<br/>Food is always delicious and a lovely variety

Absolutely incredible Italian food! Was extremely impressed. Very friendly staff with great service. The prices were just right and I had an exceptional experience whilst having lunch today. Highly highly recommend if you enjoy Italian food!

Really love this Europa, it's always busy whenever I pass by. Their staff are friendly and most importantly their food is really good. They have amazing pizzas and sandwiches that never disappoint. Quality food and money well spent.

I really like this Europa...nicely situated in a buzzing part of Umhlanga. I just wish you could see the beach from here 😉<br/>Went for breakfast...had a lovely croissant with eggs 🍳 & bacon 🥓...very nice.

I love umhlanga and europa countrywide never dissapoints. But this one specifically is nice one. Maybe it's the fact that it's by the coast or the fact that the waiters are so friendly. But the pizza just tastes scrumptious. Definately going back next time I visit. Awesome for a quick dinner.

Umhlanga Village Europa has the best ribs in town. They are sweet ,sticky and juicy ...with their side veggies ..Excellent .I come here every week to have ribs .Im obsessed 🙈

Terrible service. Manager was sitting at a table right in front of us the entire time drinking coke and not interested in the fact that our order was completely messed up. Not worth a visit!

Great food.. Great atmosphere and good service.. It's the perfect place to chill and catch up with friends.. The wine was definitely on point 🍷👌🏻.. Overall a great place to unwind.

This Europa has a lovely setting right on the popular strip of Umhlanga. Friendly staff and nice lively vibe. The coffee is okay, too white (milky) for my liking but I've had worse. I just had a focaccia with herbs and mozzarella which was nice, just needed seasoning though. Hubby had a steak roll which was just nice (he's had a better version at another branch). I think it would be nice for drinks with mates though.

Came for a quick dinner on Wednesday night. Service for durban was really quick.. we were in and out in 1 hour.<br/>I had the calamari pasta.. it was overcooked and mooshi otherwise it had good flavour.<br/>Is not part of Europa anymore.?

All Europas have good food. The prawn pizza was fabulous. The bacon and brie burger had very little brie on however. Had the cheesecake dessert which was nice

Not the best Europa I've been to. Food was very average and service was shocking. We had to call our waitress every time we needed something and she got a few orders wrong

If you wanting a quiet , chilled dinner this is the place to be . Not to busy when choosing to have an early dinner , which means incredible service! We had a few starters to share , and everything was filling and tasty.

Great early evening dinner ! No better way to start a cold , rainy evening than with the tastiest hot chocolate (and obviously with a tot of Rum) ... Giselle salad , healthy and full of flavor! Focaccia was just as good and very cheesy ! Nice chilled setting with great service !

I was recently in Durban for business and travelling alone I thought it would be a good opportunity to try some of the new places (well to me).. This place has a cool vibe and nice location but the service is slow and the couscous salad I ordered lacked any flavor at all and also the presentation was waaay too "go dish for yourself" type of looking. I also had a caprese salad as a starter which was alright.. not fantastic.. but I did get ALOT of it tho.. so I guess it was fine. I think I'd go back for a sandwich or something but not for a proper meal.

Thandeka is the most attentative waitress I've met, food is good, prepared slightly differently each time. I don't eat beef and pork and the staff catered for this need. I felt comfortable and go here quite often because it creates an enjoyable space.

If there's any Europa I enjoy it has to be this one hands down! The service is efficient and both managers and staff are highly friendly. My recommendation - their pizzas! They're thin based and made with love

Last time we visited Durban and had a meal at this disgrace of an establishment we vowed not to return, however everyone has an off day and deserves a 2nd chance, so we did just that - gave them a second chance. And once again, true to their style, they failed dismaley. We requested soft eggs with our breakfast, when the breakfast arrived the eggs were not as requested, the waitress ARGUED: "it is soft', said the inexperieced teenager!!. Clearly the staff are trained to be as rude as the owner! My so called 'ciabatta' roll was anything but, not only was it not a ciabatta but very stale and very unappetising looking. The filling sparse, just oil all over the bread roll which had conjealed, the result: oil soaked in stale bread! The meal was obviously sent back. No one came to apologise, let alone offer any alternatives, we were totally ignored whilst the owner went about his business unconcerned and unintrested in his 'regular' customers. Thank you Europa for being the absolute WORST branch in the group, you have no right to exist let alone steal customers money for the inferior service, ambience and most importantly sour, rude attitude, and as for the food.....if you tried you couldn't of possibly have screwed it up that bad. They say the ethos of a business begins at the top... the owner who has owned this sad establishment for far too long has seized to be interested and this clearly shows on his unfriendly, unshaven, sour face when one walks in the door! The poor disillussioned man mistakenly believes that a few new tables and chairs will make a business, unfortunately for him, a business succeeds because of happy CUSTOMERS and especially those who take the time and trouble to return and support you every time they in town! No more - you lost the customer. This excuse of a disgrace is to be avoided at all costs!!! We popped into Vovo Telo a few meters away, the buzz, the smells of FRESHLY baked bread and our breakfast was a total delight, Martin our most friendly waiter explained that he once worked next door at Europa but when Vovo Telo opened he ran to join a winning, HAPPY team. Well done Vovo Telo, maybe when you have a quite moment, which we sure you never do.... let the owner of Europa Umshlanga come for hospitality lessons, the poor man so desperately needs!!

This has to be the best Europa. The staff are on the ball, the manager is always on hand and the owners are there <br/>Plus the food is always divine. Always a winner. Just the cocktails could do with an improvement
