Review Krispy Kreme Gateway - Umhlanga Rocks

As good as it should be, delectable, Addictive doughnuts. On my 1st visit to this branch I ordered 12 different flavours. Tried to taste as much as I could, but tbh the ones with the least glazing and toppings were actually better. Still really good. Super clean store.

The best Krispy Kreme in Durban. The staff are friendly and really cool. I know the chillers are meant to be the same everywhere but this was great 👍. They're open till late too and had lots of stock when I went a bit late 🤦‍♂️. Updated review.... the peanut butter and chocolate chiller is the best thing ever. The tastiest one I've had in a loooong time. Please make this a permanent item on the chiller list. The normal peanut butter and cookie one is not as good as this. We always have an amazing experience here. Love the variety of delicious doughnuts that are always so fresh. The Chillers are so yummy and my kids enjoy getting to see the doughnuts being made. The staff are just so amazing and friendly just and make the experience even more pleasant and memorable😊

Krispy Kreme The kremdelakrem of coffee and doughnuts outlets. We arrived there at 6:59am and the assistant didn’t hesitate to open the doors after a quick glance at his wrist watch. Greeted with smiles, all hands were on deck. Staff were hurriedly to-and-froing to ensure everything is perfect before greeting the day. And it was. Freshly prepared doughnuts perfectly set in their spots ready to meet their new owners/eaters. So perfect that one would easily just stare at them a while before happily devouring these little works of sugary art. Simple yet satisfying to consume visually - their names alone will fill up your brains appetite for words - “nutty cocoa ring”, “New York Cheesecake”, Macadamia Nougat” and many more deliciously creative names - a feast for the eye. The coffee cups perfectly aligned along their rails with the morning sun running a willful gleam that just adds to the already friendly atmosphere. A must for every coffee and doughnut lover.

Donuts for days! A large variety of flavours available. This is heaven for someone with a sweet tooth. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient.

A happy place I must say. The doughnuts were pretty good as compared to other shops. I had the carrot cake one. I liked the doughnut itself but I was disappointed with the icing. It should've been proper cream cheese. It was pleasing to the eye but my rating dropped when it got to my taste buds. All in all it's ok.

By far the best doughnuts I've eaten. A warm yet cosy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and patient (considering it was my first time at the gateway store, I was in heaven and as usual indecisive) I will definitely be a regular especially for the cookies and cream. Nom nom nom

So my first impression of Krispy Kreme was not so great . We had two doughnuts the red valet and the brownnie... We did not enjoy it at all. This was in Johannesburg . So I said let me retry 4 months later. And oh my word. I'm in love.. I knew what I don't like so there is 3 I won't order but the rest is amazing. Fresh. Staff is so welcoming . They make amazing coffee and I'm a coffee pod. So having a freshly made doughnut and coffee is the best way to start the day . So thank you so much Umhlanga for making my exsperience so fantastic . See you daily.

Hey peeps..def a no no for me...first of all the que was veri long...secondly gosh the toppings r absolutely sweet/sugar rush lol...thirdly i ordered hot choc nd it was yukky even the cappachino was terrible.They used cold milk nd jus added water..i had to throw it away. Will never buy again....def tasted better doughnuts
