From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by our service ambassador who wowed us with her smile and recommendations of the menu. The bread rolls were small, soft, and tasty - you could finish them in just two bites! And the starters? Wow! The presentation was different and the taste and bursts of flavors blew us away. We ordered the chicken wings, chicken livers, oysters, tempura prawns, and the lamb shank - every dish was cooked to perfection. This is a solid 5 out of 5! If you're looking for a great meal in a cozy atmosphere, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out."

It was 2nd time there and it was nothing short of amazing. Pity I forgot our waitron's name but he was kind, patient and super friendly. We had sushi starter: salmon and tuna. I had the shank (to die for, literally) and my partner had their fish (sorry, forgot the name). Beautiful space, sing along music (but no one was sitting) and perfect spot overall.

The first thing i fell in love wth was the jazz and house music, the ambience,i approved. The food is amazing featuring a wide range of wine selection from Bordeaux, blends, white, red wine and Champagne. The murals on the walls are breathtaking, and you can never get enough pictures. As for the service, its exquisite, friendly and funny waiters. It was a Saturday and the salsa dance i enjoyed really much.

Cafe La Plage is a very beautiful and elegant restaurant. We went there to celebrate a 40th birthday party. It was Gatsby themed. The vibe is good and they have a DJ. The table settings are gorgeous. The food was delicious and you can order ahead. There is a bar. The food and drinks are expensive. The waiters are kind and courteous. The chef baked the most delicious chocolate cake. Undercover parking is available. Toilets are Clean. We had a fabulous evening, I would go there again and I would recommend the place to others.

Ambiance, food, service everything here is a 10/10. No pictures can do it justice!!! I am definitely returning. Please treat yourself to this place, you won't regret it. Menu has a great variety of food, I wanted to order a lambshank but they were all out as it is a favorite so I went for their specialty steak which was cooked to absolute perfection. I also love how the tip is included so I needn't calculate it, unless one would like to give extra, of which the waiters definitely deserve as they go above and beyond.

Had an amazing Christmas Lunch here with my family. The hostess, staff and food were amazing. We were treated like royalty as we sat in their elegant and beautiful premises. Thank you!!! We highly recommend ♥️

Upon walking to set upto document a wedding registration, I was greeted by Marge who was pleasant and ever ready to help. The restaurant is clean, Covid friendly, and just a class on it's own. We were offered to use almost their entire restaurant to capture images for our clients. A great experience and we will be sure to visit again.

I recently celebrated my sons birthday at Umhlanga Cafe la Plage and everyone loved the place! I highly recommend this restaurant. The interior is gorgeous, the service is friendly and the food is delivered with attention to detail. Well done to Marge, Julia and rest of the team for the excellent service. Cafe la Plage is loved by the whole family and made our celebrationsa memorable one.

We had very good service from Sandile. The food was everything. Ordered the Steak, Was absolutely fabulous. Biegnet Balls as entrees beautiful as well. Ambience on a 100. Really lovely experience

La Plage is absolutely perfect in every way... From waiters there was on their beat, very very service minded and smiling to kitchen staff who prepared delicious and tasty food. Don't forget to visit their toilet and stroll around the restaurant. Stunning stunning stunning. Stylish, alive and amazing place.

As soon as we entered the staff was very welcoming and professional, the place looks amazing, the food is top notch….from the starters to the dessert, everything was 10/10, our waitress was amazing, I definitely recommend the place and we will definitely be going there again 😊

I would suggest that the music must match the ambiance of the restaurant, you cannot play amapiano, recommend calm and classical music, of course depending on the event

Great food, definitely on the pricey side however it is fine dining. With a variety of amazing menu options La plage caters to all tastes. Excellent service and staff always on the ball. A great, quiet place for special occasions.

Their service and their food was just perfect. The staff is so friendly and made us feel at home, we had gone for my friend's birthday dinner and enjoyed every part of it.
