Celebrated my birthday and mums birthday yesterday at Julio’s. Wow! The service was amazing! Deepa was phenomenal as our waiter. The food was done to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed our birthday! Well done to the crew at Julio’s. ❤️❤️❤️

Went to Julios yesterday the food is awesomely tasty and the service was to the T,would recommend Julios to all the people I know for good tasty succulent mozambiquan chicken ,with its super peri basing sauce I was really happy!!!
Best "mini"....... nothing mini about the seafood platter.... and crispy tentacles Eva. Value for money and the taste is just awesome.

Always the best prawns in town. Monica and her sons are always very pleasant and friendly. Excellent service and they have also introduced live entertainment, which is tops.
I went for dinner to Julios umhlanga on Saturday night. We had an extremely friendly and well trained waitress by the name of happy �... She served us with such kindness and warmth..
The food was extremely divine and well presented. My family and I will definitely be going there again. First time customers and we were very happy indeed!

Good Portuguese food. The place looks a little rundown, which is perhaps part of the character, but it did feel a little weird to be the only person in the restaurant. I would however happily dine there again, if the occasion arose.
My friends and I tried this restaurant and we were quite happy with the food. I highly recommend their paella. The seafood platters were good enough. Great customer service.
I truly disliked the outdated glassware and the cutlery with flowers much like the design that I remember using at my grandmothers home when I was a kid. They could do more for the exterior. It's just not inviting.
This was the First julios we have eaten at and it was an amazing food experience. The friendly and skilled yet humble waiters are always on par and extremely informative pairing your likes with the menu. Will support Julios for a long time as long as service and their amazing specials remain a constant. Great stuff guys.

Absolutely amazing and worth the 5 stars, the chicken perri perri and lemon garlic equally as lovely as the calamari and prawn. Desserts were just as amazing definitely recommend the cream and biscuit layer dessert. Friendly wait staff and quick service.
Please do yourself a favour and visit this gem of a restaurant.
The food is amazing, generous portions at an affordable price. Everything was sublime from the drinks to the plate my wife and myself ordered.
I ate there today for the first time since 2019 and the quality of the service and food has improved tremendously. It went from a good restaurant to a great restaurant.
I'd definitely recommend it and the staff are very friendly and they go out of their way to make it a great experience.

Nice little restaurant. Chicken livers was good. Chinchado was not great...as far as Portuguese food goes they are OK, you could do great somewhere else.

Delicious food to enjoy with good company. Situated directly opposite The Pearls in the Umhlanga Plaza. Lots of Seafood and choice of other Combos. Also tasted this meal that comes to the table still flaming. Pity I didn't get a picture. We just dug right in. The waiter David is very helpful and courteous.
Great place to grab an easy lunch. Really diverse and thoroughly Portuguese restaurant with all that goes with it. The seafood is particularly good and seafood platter a real treat. If you’re looking for casual and good, this is it. They also have a good solid wine list, and the staff are great.
I heard so much about this place, I had to try it for myself while I was in Durban. Loved the platter / chaffing dish for two people. The portions and flavor were awesome, fresh seafood, love it.
The food was really good. I had a half peri peri chicken and calamari combo. My friend had a seafood pot was excellent well worth the price. Beef prego for the kids was enjoyed throughly
