Lovely spot situated right next to the beach with lovely views.
Had their version of a long island ice tea, which wasnt very good for a cocktail bar. Looked good but that was it. Their sushi was okay, but a bit pricey. Order nigiri with sliver of salmon. Vibe is nice, with inside and outside seating
This restaurant is lovely. It has the best location and such a good vibe. They were very friendly and food was delicious. They are pet-friendly if you are sitting outside.
Pretty nice view, got to see some whales while we where there. Service was fast and pretty good. The burger ( Draken) was absolutely delicious , totally recommend that one. My bf almost lick the plate of the ribs so I'm sure they where pretty good too 😋.
Nice atmosphere, decoration, clean bathrooms.
We had a very friendly and warm reception, with candle on the table that gave cosy atmosphere. We ordered burgers and drinks, food looked and tasted devine, but only the bun was disappointingly old, hard and dry.
Further there was nice music playing, nice ambience and service was good.
We went for a lunch at the Sandbar Restaurant situated at the beach front main street in Umhloti. Very popular attraction for holiday visitors, locals and tourists. Always busy but not that you have to wait to be seated.

What a great restaurant. Staff are friendly, and i take my hat off to them for remembering all orders without writing it down. Such a lovely spot to have dinner with a stunning ocean view. The take-away sushi was awesome. I'll be there again next year Sandbar!

Sandbar Restaurant has a fabulous vibe, engaging and quirky interior decor, and it's location is ideal, with unobstructed views of the ocean.
We would have preferred to have been informed at the time of making our booking, that the kitchen was going to close within 15 minutes of the time our table
This place is amazing... service is great! The sea view is to die for🥰and their mouth-watering ribs are the best👌

Sandbar was a really great experience. The food is absolutely amazing. I suggest their seafood platter for two. The fish is cooked to perfection drowned in creamy sauces. Love it! On a Saturday, packed, could have sat on the patio because the reserved tables where still empty when we left.
However, we were a walk in they seated us inside. We had a super nice waiter, ordered sushi (we did order a bunch of sushi but it looked so good we ate it, forgot to take a picture
