Exceptional service. Amazing food and great hospitality and great specials

Establishment was quite clean. Very chic Cafe style setup inside the mall. Waitron was friendly and attentive. Was our 1st visit, after always just passing by. Did not wait too long for our order, which was delicious and also a nicely plated serving. Good varied menu from which to select 👌

My favourite !! The Toasted sandwiches are a meal on its own !! Served with chips and salad. Ask for half half . Very yummy . The Owner is always around and hands on . Friendliest staff and efficient service .

Bayside Shopping Centre's Bica Cafe is for once off visitors and certainly for regular customers. Staff are friendly and efficient. They know their regular customers well. Good menu. Well priced.

The first 5 stars are for the service. That guys are amazing. Super friendliers and polite. The food is very good and tasty. It's a very good choice for breaksfast, a cup of coffee or tea or even for lunch.

I enjoyed the food . Waiters were friendly and food was made and served in a jiffy. Great value for money. They have a bathroom nearby and tv's to watch. I'll eat there again.

Our favourite waiter, Walter, was in attendance with brilliant service as always. We just had a light snack with a cappuccino and our son had a delicious thick chocolate milkshake.

Had a delicious breakfast wrap served with either a really generous portion of chips or a salad. Really good hot coffee. Excellent service.

This is a Portuguese gem, the pasteis de nata are pure deliciousness, in actual fact everything we ate was pretty perfect! We will be back again and again and again....

Had the quiche of the day - spinach and feta - and it was great. For under R100 you get a good meal: big piece of delicious quiche, salad, chips plus two slices of French bread. Most of the menu is pretty pricey, but this was a good deal.

We went for breakfast and the menu seemed quite pricey, until we received the food - The taste and the portion was definitely worth it! The waiters were all super friendly and helpful! Restaurant had a great vube, making you forget you were in a mall.

Delicious Hake and Calamari combo for lunch. At R91 it is really good value for money with chips, salad and bread and butter. Both the fish and calamari were deliciously crispy and the portion size very generous. <br/><br/>Bica Cafe is conveniently situated in Bayside Shopping Centre. All meals are delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and the service efficient. <br/><br/>Highly recommended.

I've only ever been here for a warm drink and cake after shopping. Service has always been good - the owner often stops by your table to make sure everything is okay. Carrot cake is delicious. Setting is okay - as good as it gets for inside a mall I guess.

Situated in Bayside centre is this modern coffee shop. The menu is reasonably priced and this place is always busy. Great options on the menu to choose from and 1 of the best peanut butter milkshakes i have had in a while.

Have been to Bica a few times. Their food is good, portions are huge. Their coffee is devine, especially the cappucinos. Their service isnt too bad either.

The service was decent enough with friendly staff but the food was not on par with the cost. Just felt overpriced. Not a bad experience but I don't think that we will be coming back.

This is the only eatery I will go to in the Bayside mall. I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews as my numerous experiences have all been very positive. Service is great, menu variety is massive, portions are very generous (like take home doggie bag portions) and the pricing is fair. Also in this day and age to get an actual salad, including feta and olives, with your meal is something unheard of at most places and I commend that. Good stuff.

The food is very good. Portions are generous. Diverse menu and good service. Not too expensive for what you get. Will recommend for grabbing a breakfast or lunch while doing shopping.

Cannot believe this place is still operating. Bad service accompanied with awful food.<br/>Will not be going back, not even for coffee. Last time all I wanted was a coffee, was told that as its 2hrs to closing and being a Saturday they were not going to buy more milk for my coffee.

Underrated coffee shop in Bayside - one of the only ones that doesn't charge a fortune for simple, good food. I'm always happily full when I leave Bica and the staff are very friendly. The only let down is the cakes which aren't bad but, not great either.

You can tell they're trying to compete with the likes of Mugg&Bean, but with bad service, bland food and a never changing menu combined with bad service. Truly an amazing feat that they're still open,

I really do love Bica. It's the little place where I like to go and hide away for some me time, to have a chicken mayo toasted sandwich and a coffee twice a month or so. Salads are always super fresh, toasted sandwich has just the right amount of mayo (some restaurants have it swimming in may, which is awful!) and chips are hot hot hot. <br/><br/>The waiters know me - and they know what I order. There are some lovely guys.

I love the great service you always get at Bica. The staff are really friendly and make an effort to get to know you.<br/><br/>They also have some of the best thick and creamy milk shakes and toasted sandwiches around. I really can't wait to also give their sushi a try!

This is the only eatery in Bayside Mall I am willing to go to. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced. They are willing to go the extra mile to make your meal great and everything on your plate is fresh and delicious. In the age of cafes and coffee shops who struggle to get the most basic sandwich properly toasted, this cafe gets it right everytime. Well worth a visit!
