The best British South African establishment I have ever been to in Africa. The food is prepared with the correct ingredients, that is lacking in other establishments. The beers are the all the real thing. The whiskey are great and most of all,the place welcomes all.
Perfect little pub for a few pints, not too busy, filled with regulars, friendly staff and patrons.

Great Sunday lunch. Better than home cooked! Roast Lamb, Beef and Gammon with roast potatoes, Yorkshire Pud and mixed veg. Apple crumble for desert! Wow, what a meal. Cosy atmosphere, good service and friendly chef /owner. Great value too!

We were welcomed with warmth and friendship! Spent a very enjoyable afternoon in a lovely family atmosphere, the carvery with roast potato and Yorkshire pudding with plenty devine gravy, very delish! We even bought extra dessert to take home. Thanks Marion Mom will go back home with very pleasant
Best spot to watch the LFC game, does get crowded so early arrival is key for good seats.

The restaurant is a warm friendly place run by Marion Ferguson. She is a delightful host and makes "proper" English food. The staff are friendly and you can see Marion slaving away in the kitchen making the food which is well priced and tasty.
Excellent meal, excellent service, generous portions. We had the Sunday roast with 3 roast meats, veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with gravy, mint sauce etc
