Their food is great and service is the best, first time there but I'm still amazed at how friendly the staff there is. I'm definitely going back.

This used to be the source of at least one meal a day when Zen lived in Tableview.
The staff are incredible and remembered us years later.
We would order the burger religiously, it used to come with the most amazing, crispy potato wedges, but they have updated this to thick cut fries. The burger is dressed with their house made salad dressing, this was slightly more tangy back in the day but is still delicious.

Carlucci's is the epitome of chilled deli style vibes , menu focusing on freshly made sandwiches, salads, and breakfasts.
It was packed when I arrived and I plonked myself at the bar and made it clear that I wanted to be moved to a table facing the mountain as soon as one became available , otherwise what's the point of being in Table View if you can't see the mountain!
I had the scrambled egg, mushroom, feta , tomato on a bagel. It was so massive that I had to take it home and so it became my lunch. I must admit that I was a big sad that they had ran out of croissants which were my first option.
My friend Eunice ordered the bagel ,salmon, avo and cream cheese sammie which she raved about. I trust Eunice so I believe her. The waiters are friendly, perhaps a little too overfriendly but then I'm friendly and funny so people tend to become a bit overly familiar with me. So we will write off the over friendliness to that. It could always be the other way round! So friendly we take!
If you are the convient healthy food foodie and looking for fine ready-made meals and salads to your convenience without compromising on the quality and health aspect then this is your spot!

Great place for breakfast or a quick sandwich during the day. Croissants are huge and delicious and the coffe are really good. Great for stay inside or for take away.
Been here twice now via the Entertainer and have consistently been served by friendly staff. The food is good, especially their sandwiches on fresh bread. Pizzas and burgers are massive portions.
Stopped in for a brunch Saturday morning... Oh my word it was super full! Literally not big enough for all the people to fit. It is a quick stop place so luckily tables became readily available and customers were left standing or sitting at the bar very long;)
We both went for the Carlucci's Classic - service was quick and our waiter was friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast itself is huge and I couldn't finish it - loved the Russian and bacon as well as the Banting bread option!!! Yeah! Not to mention the view get to soak up while you feast on your meal.

Small, funky and bright. Carluccis is popular and they do not lie about the view of table mountain. All this is backed up by a great menu with multiple health smoothies. I ate a chicken and avo croissant and was extremely happy to find that the chicken had been pulled off the bone and put into the croissant.
They even have a large craft beer selection of health is not your taste of the day.
Aahhhh, my go-to, happy place. Only place around where you can get a properly prepared - boiled and baked - bagel. Quality ingredients and a heavenly cappuccino all combined with friendliest of staff and an awesome ocean view!

It is one of those tiny places that are a bit hidden away but a good surprise when you find it. They have a gorgeous view of the beach and it’s the perfect distance from the sand to go for a stroll after breakfast. If I am not running in for a takeaway chocolate croissant (they have the best I’ve tasted) then I will go for a cup of coffee and a delicious filled croissant instead (Bacon, brie, banana and rocket!) I’ve often had to wait for a table if it is a gorgeous day as it is quite small inside but it is worth the wait. If you have an plans to go buy croissants or rolls from them, do it early because its essential for the picnic you have planned and they sell out quick.
Look, this is a nice place and i only went for take away. But I feel that they're pricy for what u get. I ordered their signature burger. It was bland and the sauce tasted burned, but I've had worse. The lady that helped us ( pretty sure she's the manager) was quite rude and shouldn't work front of house. I might go back.
Carlucci's is a great spot to grab a delicious meal but be warned they aren't exactly cheap. A small fruit juice could set you back almost 40 bucks. But worth every penny!! They are incredibly busy during peak hours so be prepared to wait for your meal, but you'll be back...

Breakfast on a Sunday! Tiny place over the road from the beach, great view of the city. My favourite is always french toast, this comes with brie, banana and bacon, divine I enjoyed it smothered in syrup. My friend didn't enjoy her croissant, not sure why, it looked yum. Coffee is good, and they are reasonably priced.
My boyfriend and I ate here yesturdayfor the first time just after lunch time and everything was just lovely. The food was delicious and tasteful and the manager on duty I beleive he is was just so helpful and polite. Really lovely atmosphere and a great view of Table Mountain ♡
We will be recommending Carluccis to our friends and we intend on returning ourselves
🍰 I absolutely love everything about carluccis. I was a super regular back in the working days. I now frequent it when I can. My top favourites besides their cappuccinos, is their sweet chilli chicken salads, sweet chicken chicken and avo on toast, their fresh orange juice. Their chocolate cheese cake and their awesome view
First find the parking.....struggle! Then find the table....more struggle! Once you have overcome that, you've won!The inside tables are high with bar stools and little space between them. The outside tables are the usual! The menu is varied and a little expensive but it is a trendy magnet and the quality of food and service is consistent.Tucked away but still offering a glimpse of the ocean and the mountain if sitting outside, makes for a pleasant on the run bite. Not a place to linger but it sure has its plusses, one being their freshly baked deli goods.
This place is amazing. Such great, fresh food and friendly people! Bagels from here are an improvement on any bad day! Such a great place. Highly recommend it.
Got the most EPIC takeaway grilled steak sandwich from here this afternoon. The steak was unbelievably tender and sooo tasty. Plus they make yummy cream filled cronuts - 'nuff said!
One of my favorite breakfast spots, Saturday has the busiest breakfast rush awesome hustle and bustle. Fresh juices, Banting friendly if that's your thing. Oh yes breakfasts are awesome. So if your in the mood for good breakfast on Saturday this is a place to go, even a little cheeky lunch during the week - great sandwiches

Love the hustle & bustle of this place particularly on a Saturday morning. Food is good and the staff members are friendly. Well worth visiting. The fact that it's on the beachfront is also a massive plus.

One of the best hidden gems in Table View! Really great selection of craft beer, in my eyes the best that Cape Town has to offer. Awesome variety of tasty eats on the menu. Can be hard to get a table on a beautiful Summer morning, because of the size of the establishment.
Definitely the coffee shop you want to be at on a sunny summers afternoon as it has some of the best views of the beach and table mountain that anyone could ever ask for.
The view is really enough of a reason to visit but the food is even more of a reason to visit. The sandwiches are really spectacular and as is the coffee.
Once you visit, you'll be hooked and want to return again and again.
Carlucci’s has the most amazing view of table mountain, this coupled with awesome coffee and the best gourmet sandwiches I have had in a very long time show me why they have such a large following in the area. They have a great menu selection but with their range of speciality breads I haven’t yet made it off their gourmet sandwich list, my favourite so far is definitely the gourmet chicken mayo and avo on a pumpkin seed roll (you can choose your bread) they are obviously using the best quality ingredients and their homemade mayonnaise rounds off the flavours superbly. I have seen many international visitors as well as locals sitting in the window enjoying a meal and checking their emails or just enjoying the view, definitely a must try spot in Table View.

simply the best! to taste a good breakfast, a beautiful view an excellent service and atmosphere. for breakfast, lunch at noon, dinner or just a refreshing drink or delicious coffee this is the best place.

Nice breakfast place. Go for something with eggs, they are good in making that. But skip the plane croissant with jam. A place on the terrace outside, also in winter is nicest.

Food and view was great but the service was very laid back, so dont expect super fast service.
Really enjoy having breakfast here. Their menu has expanded a bit since we last went and the quality of the meals are still great! Waiters there are really friendly and service in general is quite good. If you are looking for beautiful views of Table Mountain and maybe some Kite Surfers if the wind is right, this is a great place to be.
Officially super impressed! Thin crispy base, perfectly cooked, great flavor! I feel like I have wasted money upgrading my kitchen - I don't need it anymore.
The other great part is that the box fits easily in the bin - now you think about that when you order some other brand,... ok besides that - this was my favorite pizza ever, and I have had many different brands, now I have to go back and give the other places 1 stars.
Don't try it - you wont be able to order from anywhere else again, maybe this company should put warning labels on their food (CAUTION! - you are about to have an awesome meal!!!)
Lovely modern cafe bistro with a view of the mountain! I had a “hangover” juice and a vegetarian hummus sandwich and then a coffee. The ingredients were all freshly prepared and tasted fabulous. Perfect relaxing start to the day, accompanied by excellent service. Highly recommend.
The top place on my list to go for breakfast or an early lunch. The staff are helpful, quick, friendly and always smiling. But be sure to get there early, everyone loves this place and it can full up quick but don't loose heart if you late. Luke i did the stag are quick so tables turn relatively quick. Don't forget the ocean view for the enclosed deck area. Love.
