Review Pakalolo Cafe' - Bar - Table View

The food was really good. The only problem were there is only 2 waiters. Poor waiters had to serve so many people on a sunny sunday afternoon. I must say service was fast but i felt so sorry for the waiters. When we had to pay she was so busy mixing drinks she could not even check the card machine if the amount went through or not.

The Nacho Con Pollo has been my favorite dish for years and it's always delicious to order. They have the best view. Just know they get super busy on beautiful days, so a spot to watch the sunset isn't always available!

The place was a vibe, it reminded of me back in KZN. They played deep house the while time which is a plus in my eyes. The stuff is super chilled.

Had such a blast at Pakalolo Yesterday the vibe was so so nice if you are in the area pop in the staff is pretty awesome and the drinks is amazing they do a food menu I've never eaten there but the Cocktails and shooters is definitely worth the visit 🙂. Then there is the view over table mountains that you can also enjoy by looking out the window while sipping your worries away. It was my second time visiting Pakalolo's, and I had the best time ever 😎

Awsome chilled bar with a great vibe and an amazing view of the sunset. The place is a little small, so be prepared to stand if necessary. Please note that there is no smoking inside. Drinks are on the higher price range, but thats what you sacrifice for the best view in the house. Go check them out, you will not regret it!

It's one of those unsung gems. The food was excellent- we had the nachos, super tasty, and the perfect munch next to the beach. Pakalolo has one of the best views on the strip. It's always a good vibe with excellent service from their team. I will frequent the place every time I come back! Mingle with locals and tourists. Fun place.

The best view from a bar in Table View beach front. ⛱️ The owner was extremely friendly and attentive to customers' needs. Staff seemed a bit aloof and not very helpful. Nefer the less! Brilliant venue to appreciate a beautiful sunset.

Absolute pleasure to be here! View the vibe and company. Parking in Cape town always been a issue. Yet here there is a safe space for my vehicles. Came in as a stranger from Eastern Cape to a friend of many. You guys are the absolute favorite. Shout out to Tareen for handling my group so well and personal service. Shoutout to Bar and cleaning ladies that handle any mess or spillage effortlessly as needed on the busy occasions. I look forward to many more visit with the team and friendly company. Thank you!

What a way to enjoy a sunset. Fantastic service and a beautiful sunset. Stunning view of table mountain. Locals hanging out here adds to the atmosphere of the place and the music set a super mood. Guess what sport Singyn (a barmen) do and win a beer on the house 😉

After the 1 million times coming to Cape Town I’ve never been to Pakalolo, what a weirdo! It’s mostly because it is always jam packed with people because it’s so popular. I can see why this a local favourite. Their cocktails are amazing and so flippin well priced! We’re being ripped off everywhere else to be honest. Well done guys- true patriots 💪🏼 I’m a tequila sunrise fan and it’s not a drink you can really find anymore, at least in Joeys- but they have it and a 2.0 version- the Pakalolo Sunrise! Amazeballs! Get it! The food was awesome- we had the nachos, super tasty and the perfect munch down right next to the beach. What more can a water loving human need?! I will definitely frequent the place every time I come back!

Was a good vibe. Unfortunately the tv for sport was only in the small bar section and the manager sat 2 ladies at a large table which would have suited our big party way better. Bar staff was great though

One of those unsung gems. Friendly happy vibe, yummy large portioned food (Best nachos ever.......expect large portions), incredibly good service a difinite must visit for the best happy go lucky beach vibe. Definitely on our must visit list. If beach dining could be fine this is the place where it is at.

The drinks are cold but the food is bad. Ordered a plate of nachos and got Doritos chips with a bit of cheese and some sweet chilli sauce.

The waitress was friendly and effective although it was busy. The barman with long hair and a beard looked bored with his job. My virgin raspberry daiquiri was extremely tasty. We had a classic quisidalla and a toasted chicken mayo. The food was great and it was served fast. It was presented tastefully. Overall a good experience.

Whoever owns this establishment must honestly hire new staff the bar guy with long hair and beard and the ladies must go.....These people are less friendly they look so angry and dirty. stinking attitude geeez none the less the beach view was much rather breathtaking

I never use to trust bar food, untill I ate Pakalolo's nachos and burgers! Finger licking good, fast service and friendly staff. If I could, I would give them 10 stars

Perfectly located with sea views. Pakalola is viby and fun. Very popular with the locals and holiday makers from early to late. Thursday are really popular.<br/>

What a view, gives you that hawain vibe, my girlfriend had the Pina colada which was good, I had a casual Jack Black, to eat we had the Mark's breakfast & quesadilla respectively, was decent, felt the breakfast was pricey.

A great venue for a few drinks.  Situated along the beach front it's hard to beat the view. The Beer is cold and happy hour is a welcome saving. Staff are relatively sharp and beer is cold, I just wish they had a larger craft beer selection. Can get a little crowded at times and finding parking nearby is an issue sometimes.

My boyfriend and I wanted to visit a place we haven't been to before and sadly we won't go there again. <br/><br/>The vibe was nice and the views were great but the service was terrible. The waiter couldn't give us a table because we were not having something to eat and the one side of the restaurant that was only 'reserved for eating' was full. Eventually he gave us a seat. When ordering drinks they gave my boyfriend a Windhoek draught instead of a Castle Light and my cocktail was much smaller than expected. I realise that mistakes happen, but the waiter's attitude was very off-putting.

Nice place to chill out for a drink or a bite to eat with a view of the ocean. They have a nice list of bar food and like the tropical theme.

Good vibe for a relaxed drink. The bartenders are cool and their cocktails are pretty good too. There are few seats and tables available though and it gets very busy sometimes..

Usually, a place like this would irritate me to no end. So let me review it honestly. This one gets 3.5 from me. If I were expecting my usual service and food quality, it would get a 1. <br/><br/>Firstly, it's a very relaxed vibe. No one seems to be in a rush, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I do enjoy swift service. There is no swift service here. <br/><br/>Secondly, the food is really blotting paper to me, but no one seems to mind and people are definitely ordering food here! <br/><br/>This isn't my go-to place to chill, however, I see some regulars from time to time, so if you're in the mood to lap up stunning views of the ocean and just drink the hours away, then this is the place to be because you won't notice the slow service and boring fries.<br/>

Just went for coffee after a night out. The barmen were cute and the staff helpful. The coffee was great too. Awesome vibe and good music. I'm glad to have been invited to this hidden gem. I wouldn't go to eat - but this venue is definitely the place for drinks to be had.

The views MAKE THIS PLACE. We’ve never eaten here… usually just popped in for a drink, a few moments of looking out to sea and then moved on to the next place. Pleasant and friendly spot.

I'm not a huge fan of Pakalolo, I've only been invited here with other guests and never actually choose to go there. I don't feel the food or vibe are particularly great and would much rather choose one of the many other restaurants nearby instead. The view however is really stunning.

Not a bad time here - the view is everything. Drinks are overpriced and they burnt the first chicken mayo sandwich we ordered so we had to wait. A chicken mayo is not hard to make. But all that was soothed by the view and company. Delicious fries and the burger was value for money.

Saddest "royal cheese burger"... Rather call it the Mugabe burger... Its hard, spicy & an old roll... I lonely slice of cheese... Nada Royal

Pakalolo is a great bar just across the road from the beach, the crowd seems to change each time I’ve been from an older crowd to a young crowd. The bar staff are really fun and quick with your order. We had cocktails and their nachos, really good portion sizes and nicely done cocktails.

What a view! They properly fill their wine & beer glasses. We had Nachos - big portions of everything. The staff are also very friendly! Can't wait to go back... ?

The only place to go for nachos in Hout Bay! Also has a nice room with couches etc for birthdays and functions

With a uninterrupted view of Table Mountain, this is definitely one of the best sundownder spots in Cape Town.<br/>The theme is laid back relaxed and you can almost imagine sitting on a beach in Hawaii. For the foodies, try out the Nachos. Great portions for the price and 1 serving is enough for 2 people.

Myself and friends often visit Pakalolo for Sunday afternoon cocktails or Friday evening drinks.<br/><br/>Great view, great vibe, great service and delicious Nacho's :-)<br/>Only thing is as a smoker I think they have the two sections the wrong way around with non smoking being much more spacious and the smoking area being sooo TINY that by 7pm you are being squashed like sardines and eventually we tend to move along to the next place that's not so cramped. <br/><br/>If you're looking for a spot for a nice cocktail with a breath-taking view Paka's will give you that..
