The Swellendam Wimpy is an oasis on a long trip and the staff were more than accommodating four tired travellers who arrived even before opening time.
There was no complaint as they opened the door for us and allowed us to be seated while they continued their routines.

The thing about smaller towns is that everyone is still so human and friendly - our server was no different. She made easy casual conversation and one felt welcome . The food was as good and came out super fast too.
