The waiters are friendly and so informative definitely tipped! Loved the 20% discount for locals, Loved the basket with bread and the ostrich Salami very different and unique. If you love ostrich this is your dream!

Melt in your mouth fillet! 10/10 meal and service. An absolute must visit if you’re in the area.

Great restaurant on main street of Swellendam. Easy to miss si ce it is slightly hidden behind large trees. Seating available outside and inside. Waiters are very friendly and efficient. Has a nice atmosphere. They specialise in ostrich dishes. Ostrich burger was great.

Very good food and good service. We have ordered a vegetables soup, pizza, chicken schnitzel. Everything was good specially the pizza.

It was a really nice dinner at De Vagebond! The owner as well as our waiter Freddy were really lovely and care taking. Both Schnitzels (Ostrich & chicken) were perfectly crispy and tender. Absolutely recommendable,

OMG. Food was SOOO good! I had the filet that was amazing, vegetables amazing, potatoes amazing! One of the best restaurants we ate in South Africa! Loved it.
