Overall, it's a nice shopping complex. I just wish they had at least Pic n Pay or Spar.

Love it, but for God's sake, why is this place without a single ATM?

There's usually no parking. Please be careful, i don't know how many times I've seen people pumping each other at the packing. Love the weed guy who you can find at the parking lot.

Great coffee stop. I miss working in Sunninghill, it's not that easy to run across to Lulu's for one of their delicious cups of coffee. Highly recommended!!!

Stopped here for a quick coffee- the place looked quaint. I had the white mocha which didn't disappoint. The cappuccino was however not very good. Very similar to vida's setup.

What I liked most about Lulu was the friendly staff. I enjoyed very much my cup of cappuccino + cookie. Will definitely come back. The atmosphere is great.
Always come here to get coffee as it is close to work. Quick and friendly service. Often have large orders for the whole office and it is never a problem! Good place to grab a quick sandwich for lunch.

i have been to a few Lulu's but haven't been to the one in Sunninghill for a while, the toilets where dirty, there was no hand towels in either of the bathrooms. When I informed the lady behind the counter she ignored me. I ordered a mocha coffee no milk no sugar and got a mocha coffee with tons of milk and sugar. I enquired about the wi fi and was told i need to buy something, which was exactly what I was doing. Finally I got a code after more bad attitude and rudeness and when I logged in the wi fi was slow. When I questioned the other customer who was there she agreed it was slow. When I asked if we could reboot the modem or do something to get it faster/fixed I got told I was a racist and that Africa is for black people only and a whole lot more stuff that was tantamount to hate speach and pure unadulterated racism. The other customer joined in with the racism, hate speech and slander and when I demanded to speak to a manager or owner she said she was the owner...and no I didn't believe it because what owner of a shop would treat a customer like that?
The once cool interior that was clean is now scratched, scuffed, and grubby and the TV droned out an SABC rebroadcast of some parochial American talk show...I will never go there again!
Oh and did I mention the wi fi is slooooooooow!

Have not been here in a while since moving out of Sunninghill. Ordered a coffee, gave a nice tip, when my USB modem had a week signal I asked for the wifi password to which I was told, What did you order? No! you must order something else. I assume they would have uncapped ADSL (otherwise they would be silly), and therefore found the occurrence quite rude and offensive. I can safely say I will not be back here again.

Good coffee but the Wi-Fi is really slow, I may need to find a new morning coffee shop because of this. Did I mention the wifi was really slow?

I just love the guys there. Super friendly, they know my poison and start preparing it as soon as I walk in. They are not just friendly they are friends.
Everything they prepare themselves is tasty and fresh.
They have even real bread (like the Germans have) not just the soft sandwich bread you typically have.

Great

This is one of the most simple yet most exceptional little coffee shop in Sunninghill- it has such a great feel to it and it is noticeable that there are a lot of return business as the servers know most people walking into the door by name, personally I agree with the fact that if you have been here you will go again!

The coffee is really good here however tinge food selection needs to be a little more expansive in my opinion and to top it off they offer free wifi which is a must in any coffee shop - even though it is a little slow...

From someone who goes to Lulus at least 3 times a week – I am disgusted and WILL not be back.

I asked a colleague to pick up a cappuccino and cookie for me on her way to work this morning. She decided to grab a white hot chocolate.

My large cappuccino was only ½ full. That included foam. My cookie was burnt and dry. Her white hot chocolate tasted like warm milk with a teaspoon of vanilla essence (a thing I drink regularly).

Ok great get they are busy so at lunch we went to complain. NEVER in my life have I had such bad service.
She said it was ½ full because of foam – that’s what a cappuccino is. Awesome why did my foam only go ½ way when it has NEVER done that before. Apparently the cookie was the same as always and she tried to force feed me warm milk to “show me” I was wrong. She licked the warm milk off her hand and then continued serving food and drink.

How this place is still running with service like this amazes me.

What happened to the customer is always right.

She then proceed to what I can only assume talk crap about everything in Zulu.

I used to love Lulu and have been spending money there for going on 9 months. However if this is how they treat loyal customers I will make sure my entire office park no longer go there.

Ritual is right next door and is cheaper with better service.

Could not be more disgusted.
Little bit of European culture in the heart of a buzzing neighbourhood...pop in and grab a cappucino with free wifi! 100 points to Lulu (who ever that might be)

Inasmuch as they serve very good coffee in good time, their rude member of staff has taken away my vote.

LuLu's is great if you need to grab coffee, breakfast or lunch when you're on-the-go. They have fresh sandwiches; bagels; health breakfasts; muffins; brownies; etc. Staff are always friendly, and love the quirky sayings they have around the place. They do have a large dining room size table here and offer free WiFi so if you need to get work done out of office, also a good option.
