Review Milky Lane - Sun City

There are lots of vibrant, friendly staff to help. The seating area was clean and empty when we got there. The saddest disappointment is Milkylane no longer does the savoury waffle and many who come will not want to get anything else from the store. None the less the usual waffles were okay as an alternative. There were new flavours apple and caramel and Malva pudding. The milkshakes were nice. Prices overall not bad. Looking for the savoury waffle to return one day soon.

Service with a smile, quick easy and the Milky Lane quality we've come to expect and love. Doesn't get 5 stars because quite a few items were not in stock

The service was absolutely amazing, they really treat every one so special and you given great attention. Finding the place is obviously simple with of course the help of Google maps. Milky Lane ice creams are the best.

Food took forever, 1 waiter on a peak season Sunday. Not too keen on this place again. Food was not bad. Worse milky lane experience yet. Sorry

The service is extremely poor. After waiting for almost 10 minutes. When we arrived at 21:00 and the store closes at 22:00 as it says on the website. Wanted to order waffels and apparently the kitchen was already closed ?? An hour before closing time. <br/>Also told that we were not to sit in the Milkylane seating area as that was also already closed ? Milkylane itself might just aswell have been closed then because what is the point. Then you have to wait 25 minutes for your plain twirl ice cream as well. Pathetic.

The ice cream is good, tastes just like your average milky lane however it would be great if there were very visible times/signage stating when sit down closes. That way customers won’t waste their time if they’re craving a waffle and it’s too late.

The place was clean and tidy, however the service was horrible and the waffles we ordered compared to other Milkylane stores was not up to standard. I am truly disappointed at the service level and dessert, from presentation to the amount of toppings on the waffles. The lady that served us, first approach to the counter says to is that she is tired and yawned and said she wanted to go home. Jokingly and to make conversation I don't worry your shift will finish just now and you can go home and sleep. Ignoring me she stared at me. I gave in our order, we were given the waffles and ice cream in separate tubs. I checked waffles quickly and as I left we went to J&M. When I was there I opened the ice creams and 1 tub was literally 1 small swirl of ice cream. I went back and showed it to her. No apology or excuse, she grabbed the cup and filled the ice cream, when she handed it to me no smile, no apology, no thank you. When we got to the rooms we had dinner and then dessert. My partner opened his waffle and the amount of chocolate mousse on the waffle in between the layers was so little. The meringue was so little on my waffle and the barone peanut chocolate was really less on it. Again really disappointing.

Bad service.. orders are swapped .. i ordered for a coffee shake but i got something else .. i got my order replaced but after too much unnecessary discussions.. another customer also complained the same for order mismatch

A good range of icecreams and waffles and shakes. Love the presentation, its looks very palatable. We tried the custard chocolate monster shake. Worth the money. It had banana and layers of chocolate and custard. Try if you love this combination.

30.04.2017 When last did I have Milky Lane. It brought back so many memories of waffles and ice cream and all the various syrups you'd decorate it with. I went for the simplest thing cos it was chaos as there was a dance competition happening. Just had the usual sugar cone with chocolate dip. The ice cream wasn't as creamy as it use to be so it was OK. <br/><br/>I'm happy to see they have updated their menus to be in with the latest trends and they Have cookies and ice cream sandwiches.
