Review Jj's Cafe And Deli - Strand

Relatively new place in the neighborhood but best Cappuccino on beach road esp when taken strong. Moussaka was a treat, by special order only.

Friendliest staff; Cosy venue; Great menu; Lovely food! They persuaded us to try their chocolate eclairs for dessert...It was worth it! YUM!

Breakfast on the beach front from 07:00. Lunch: Shawarmas, Hamburgers and Chips and lots more to choose from.

Good icecream but the staff not very friendly

The Cafe closed down. Another one opened in its place. But when it was still open service was very bad! The food was also not too bad and they did had a banting choice also.<br/>

Kind of a neutral place. Not amazing and not terrible. Slightly strange decor, but that's up to individual taste. Overall it was okay, no major complaints.

We were very disappointed. The food really wasn't anything to write home about. The haloumi had enough saltiness to put you off salt for quite some time. I could hardly drink the very berry smoothie, as it was just not well balanced in its flavors and too over bearing in general. And to top, the schwarma was also fairly tasteless.

Thank you for a wonderful little cafe, beautiful view, less than 20 meters from the beach, excellent meal, great cappuccino and friendly service. Love it! Will definitely add it to my list of favorites.

We were very disappointed this morning.Drove all the way from Durbanville after checking opening times etc here only to find the place closed.If you are not open at 07h30 Monday to Sunday as both this site and your info on your door state then why advertise it so.Very disappointed

Had the Banting breakfast which looked a bit mean with 2 fried eggs (overdone ) and 2 rashers of bacon and 2 slices of banting bread. However for the price it was ok and the view is amazing.

Yummy Cakes with a cup of Illy coffee or a Fresh pressed juice with an awesome view of the sea . Watching the kids swim in the sea and people walking past.<br/>Biggest selection of Breakfast & Cakes in Strand Beach Road .<br/>

Wow, location location location, to eat my food and watch the waves breaking out to sea with the laughter of children playing on the beach, so bring your kids too.<br/>Not only are they located in front of the rock pool in strand  but they serve the best Banting breakfast I've had in Cape Town, the lunch menu is to die for too, try the Banting burgers!!<br/>The atmosphere is full of life and joy obviously as the staff have the pleasure of a sea view all day long, Lucky fish, no wonder they are all so happy:)<br/>Congrats to the owners on producing something that we all need , good healthy food done right. <br/>I highly recommend this restaurant as a meeting venue, hang out or meal venue.<br/>Simply Superb !!

Oh what a delight it is to eat at a place that revels in its simplicity! The moment we walked in was the moment I felt right at home - and the way the food was prepared is testimonial to this statement. I ordered the Cafe Breakfast, as seen below. The ingredients, like the ambience, was fresh and organic which I thoroughly enjoyed. I felt like I was eating at my gran's house. The pinnacle of my breakfast is most probably the Cafe Latte and the homemade Strawberry jam. Love!

On the last day of our holiday we stopped in by chance at this little diner. We had the Greek breakfast with Tsatziki and grilled haloumi on the side. Very friendly people with great service and an amazing view. The cappuccino was awesome too.<br/>If you're on the area stop in here for sure.

There is such a variety of fresh vegetables , Juicing, steaks ,Chicken .Theres something for everybody. Child friendly and Dog friendly outside seating and a bicycle stand.<br/>
