we were there for lunch and dinner today, we ate very well, especially the very well cooked and good meats. the desserts are also very good. However the quality of the service depends on your server… I would like to give 4,5/5

Top Class Performance on an International Level. That’s the best I can say! We ordered fillet pepper steak, chiecken schnitzel and salad and all of them were absolutely delicious. View is amaizing and staff was very friendly! The waiter even went over the shop nearby to buy me ginger beer (they did not have on drink menu). Really appreciated! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful experience!

Food and the waiter were both great 5/5. Bit cold due to temporarily being hosted in a tent due to construction of the main building.

First of all, i have no idea why the rank is only 3.4 stars. Is absolutely 5. We ordered the medium 300g fillet that was great! And the beyond burger that was nice but the bread cant hold the burger. All and all, great place to eat

The Cattle Barron is situated inside the Tsitsikamma reserve which makes it ideal for a quick and easy meal if you’re camping or staying in one of the chalets nearby. The original restaurant burnt down, but the current temporary structure is still nice and it has great views and an outdoor seating area. The food is also well priced. Just take note of the closing time if you’re arriving late from Cape Town in the evening!

Absolutely enjoyed the food and setting. They definitely know how to prepare their meat as the filets were perfect and flavorsome. I would recommend a lunch here any time. Prices may be a touch higher but its understandable that the place is situated in a national park with fewer customers. keep up the good service and amazing meals.

Had supper on Fri. Eve. Nossie cooked our steaks, SPECTACULAR😁. Actually asked to see her to thank her. On Sat lunch we had the seafood platter for 2, again, a lovely meal. Sat eve we had another lovely meal. Can seriously recommend people visiting the park, forget about cooking your own meals and just enjoy the Cattle Baron. Amazing that they are able to produce excellent food in a tent

I chose Storms River rest camp to celebrate my 40th birthday, as it is a special place to me. Although the restaurant is still inside a temporary tent structure, we had a great time. Luis, Diane and their team took great care of us. The food was superb! I can definitely recommend the Seafood platters and Chateaubriand.

Its just great to have a Cattle Baron here in the reserve. What a location with beautiful see and forest views. Only a pity that its in a temporary tent since the wooden cabin burnt down. I hear the new cabin will be built soon. Anyways its still worth a visit for sure.

Chalk and cheese.......after the bummer at the branch in the Addo the visit to the branch in the Tsitikamma Park all made up for it. Mind you they have to operate (and work) twice as hard at the Stormsriver Mouth, as all the have is a tent, the new restaurant is still being constructed after the fire some 7 years ago. Even the manager Louis made it to our table, enough said.

Wonderful view directly at the sea, friendly service, good price and the t-bone steak was delicious. Whatelse would you except from the only restaurant in this place! By the way: we had the chocolate cake as dessert and it was really good!
