One of the best restaurants I've eaten at. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. They have a unique menu and the chicken soup is to die for.
The seating is very intimate and the fireplace added to the romantic vibe.
There os sufficient parking out front and they have toilet facilities in the bistro. I highly recommend this place.

Very unassuming from the outside, but what a delight! The food is absolutely delicious, I had the special on the night which was a cheddar melt steak, meat was soft, tasty and prepared perfectly. The sauce was just to die for.. really. It came with a healthy helping of home cooked veg and chips. Service was good, I would give them 4.5( but rounded up instead of down because they don’t deserve 4), but would easily give 5 stars if atmosphere improved ( music, candles/better lighting etc)
My wife and I visited Hanlie's and had the best lamb shanks that we have ever had in our lives. They were out of this world. The rest of the food going to the other tables looked just as good. This place is highly recommended.
This place is such a gem! Delicious food! The bone marrow and wine fillet is to die for! Best steak sauce I have ever tasted. Possibly best sauce I have ever tasted. My mom is a local and took us to this "secret spot". I was so impressed!
Wonderful food, best we had in a long time. We were 6 people and each had something different to eat, and we all absolutely loved our food! Superb service and the ambience enhanced our dining experience. Would recommend for food lovers.

A well selected menu catering to all tastes with South African classics in portions which fills the gap. The restaurant in Stilbaai where one can go to for celebrating an intimate occasion or take guests for dinner. Very reasonable prices and friendly service.

Despite load shedding we had a lovely plunger coffee and tea and the most scrumptious lemon meringue! Warm and friendly service and a lovely sea view, this little bistro is a welcome addition to Stilbaai!
