Review Alluvia Specialist Winery - Stellenbosch

The rooms were well designed but quite small. Our air conditioning turned off on its own twice as well which was not ideal when it was 35 degrees (luckily we were able to get it back on once going to reception). Furthermore, the pool wasn’t open even though we’d been told prior to our stay that it would be finished following renovations. Staff were friendly, particularly at the restaurant. The breakfast included was great, with plenty of options to choose from. The location is great and the property is beautiful, with an amazing view!

The property and room were gorgeous. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were both delicious. During our 15 nights in the country, this was the only place to not offer free drinking water but it did have a stocked (pay) mini bar. However, this was also the best shower I had of all the places we stayed. There were no blackout curtains in our room but we still slept well. Beautiful view.

Beautiful views, peaceful and attentive staff. A lovely menu and delicious cocktails. A recommended spot to visit, we will definitely be back! And they have a small lake which you can have picnics around.

Only went to the restaurant. The views at sunset are stunning. As is the food! Korean chicken and lollipops was so good we had to order another! Beef wellington and Wagyu burger were also hits.

Alluvia was amazing for us we had a couple picnic we loved the views, the food and the people we really enjoyed it. I want to give a special thank to Nico who arranged everything and also our waiter Angelo. They made our day extra people 🙏😇❤️ THANK YOU SO MUCH, ALLUVIA WILL DEFINITELY SEE US AGAIN!!!🙌

Had the fortune to attend a workshop hosted at Alluvia Boutique Winery, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The winery is nestled at the foot of the scenic Helderberg Mountains, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. We had our lunch and dinner at their restaurant and the food and wine was a highlight. The menu offers a range of dishes that are crafted to pair perfectly with the wines, and I was delighted with everything I tried. The standout for me was the grilled steak, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The desserts capped off the meals nicely. Overall great place for a chilled day sipping on wine and enjoying the views.

Absolutely met every expectation. Friendly staff - stunning views. I can see why generally this place would be booked out so far in advance. Food is great ..very quiet and serene getaway for a couple or family.

Amazing experience. The views are absolutely breathtaking and staff are very friendly - our waiter AJ was the best! Chicken burgers were a tad bit dry but all other meals ordered were 10/10. Will definitely be back!

Did wine tasting and lunch with friends. The place is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly

My friends and I headed to Stellenbosch for the day and, having found Alluvia via TikTok, I wanted to show it off to my friends and enjoy a late lunch. I made a reservation a couple of days prior, as I am a planner and like to ensure my friends and I have a good experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The service was absolutely phenomenal, some of the best I've encountered. We were offered the option of a quick wine-tasting inside before moving outside to the deck for our late lunch. The wines were enjoyable and priced well for what they were. Our host was knowledgeable and had a beautiful way of explaining the wines to us. Afterwards, we moved to the deck where they had kept aside a table for us and a new host took over. We enjoyed burgers, chips, pizzas, cold beers and cocktails. And the food is just as good as it looks! Our visit to Alluvia was the perfect end to our day in Stellenbosch, and I hope to visit again. I'm sorry I did not get our hosts/waiters' names (long day!) but you were absolutely fantastic, thank you so much for giving us a memorable experience.

Beautiful wine farm setting and superb food. Good value wines as well. Loved this stop!

A lovely little hidden gem. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great with a stunning view of the mountains. Will definitely return.
