Amazing beautiful location. Food however isn’t the best. Breakfast takes a very long time to arrive and is not nice. Wine is good and the hostess is very kind. They did however charter an unusually expensive cab for us.

We did a wine tasting, ordered sandwiches as well. It was a relaxing experience, great view, clean bathrooms, worthwhile the drive.

I was pleasantly surprised by visiting their cellar door. There was more than enough open tables to choose from, however parking is very limited
I absolutely love how Erica (if that’s correct) conducted the wine tasting, it was short and to the point
The wines is very unique and i loved all of them. The brut rose is one of the nicest I’ve had. The cheese board didn’t impress me on looks but it tasted so delicious
The dam and mountain views is a definite win!

Amazing stop! So glad we made our way here . We have wineries in California too but this was really amazing as the views were stellar, service was great, ambiance was awesome and prices were much better than the states ! R50 for a tasting (comes with 4). Can pay more for more or premium tastings ! Cozy spot on a lake with nice outdoor seating ! Delicious cheese and pate plates :)

We were guests at a wedding and the team at L'Avenir were amazing!!! The entire experience from the beautiful ceremony on the lawn to the huge bon fire until early hours of the morning with the delicious food and great dj for dancing was awesome!!! And we spent the night in the room in comfort! Loved everything!

Great views, great service from "Rayn" l hope l got that name right. Pricing not for those trying wine tasting for the first time starts from 100-120. The idea of service MCC in a white wine glass found it maddening besides that everything is cool and cheese meat Plata good (275). Had a good time seeing birds snack on fish. Wines l would rate 5/10 MCC 20/10 one of the best that why it was disappointing to have such a good MCC in a white wine glass

The most beautiful estate ever. The best place we went to when we went wine tasting. Brad was hosting us and made us feel comfortable and really went over and above to allow us to enjoy the experience. Anybody looking for a wedding venue in Stellenbosch or if you are are looking for an estate to go wine tasting, L'Avenir is the one I'd recommend and definitely ask for Brad.
