Good food and playzone for kids. Craft beer and clay pigeon shooting a really fun activity for family or a team building event. Food is affordable and tasty - burgers are well known

Not Wild Clover any more. Craft beer, gin and tasty thin crust pizza's. Yum. I think the place will be buzzing in summer.

It's not what it used to be. Pity they don't sell the wild clover beers at the restaurant.

Might not be everyone's cup of tea but very nice venue with a lot of open space for kids to play while parents can sit back and relax

Tuesday pizza special enjoyed at this magnificent venue surrounded by the view of mountains and pedigree horses

Great beer and fantastic location they did have a problem with one of kegs so they were blowing to much head but guess it happens to the best places.

No pizza bases. Platters came incomplete and cold. Kids Hamburgers very Raw!. They ran out of clean beer glasses so we were served in one L jug and had to pour our self. Waited almost 2 hours for food. That aside, nice live entertainment!

So i took my partner for some beer and tapas pairing. Arrived there, was pointed to the right direction (brewery) and the place, although all doors open, was completely empty??

No one was around and we could just as well have helped ourselves to some beers on tap or from the fridges, etc..

We then walked to the restaurant and after notifying them no one is at the brewery we walked back with a waiter and they found someone sitting in the back room. Barman was on holiday apparently..

I don't drink beer at all, but it seems like my partner enjoyed it! Just think it was very small portioned.

All in all a good experience.

This is a stunning family orientated venue. Beautiful outdoor area with a kiddies area too. The food looked amazing when I came in. I have a huge passion for pizza and I would say there pizzas are good and very filling but we did have an incident with the chorizo sausage still having the end piece of steel on it. When I told teenager she just apologized. I feel this is unacceptable considering how dangerous it is. Saying this I'm going to go back to the positive and say I love the venue

What a disappointment. The food is tasteless, we had the Asian Pulled pork salad and the peri peri chicken. There was no spices on the chicken as well as the pork. No color on the plate as well, at least serve the food with some salad or vegetables to add color to the plates. Would definitely not visit this place again.

Visited this place for the first time after hearing about the beer and tapas pairing. Besides this, the beer and tapas pairing was quite good, impressed with the beer especially the stout (and I harte stout) but this stout was not bitter and a bit sweet even and I was quite impressed! Liked the tapas although very small, and all and all was a good experience once we found someone to help us ;)

We decided to give Wild Clover a try as we are currently searching for child friendly venues to host a kiddies party. Their website looked promising, but we were utterly disappointed. The venue is in dire need of an upgrade. The website boasts about a little petting farm, when in actual fact there was only one animal who looked like he was in need of some TLC. The kiddies area was disorganized and dirty. I wonder when last the sand pit received a clean and new sand. The service was ridiculously slow and worst of all... the food was not up to standard. My burger was definitely of the frozen variety. Having eaten at many estates in Stellenbosch I always expect fresh ingredients to be used. My Wild Clover burger was definitely not 100% beef. In fact, the burger patties sold by Pick n Pay could rival those of Wild Clover. We were so disappointed and will definitely not be going back. It's such a pity as the venue holds lots of potential.

Nice music, just a pity we have to wait sooo long for our food been waiting for an hour then it gets said that they dont have steak anymore....i dont usually complain but i feel its the end of the month obviously it will be full. Please do something about the service very slow. I really hope you do something about it.

Great place for kids but play equipment needs some TLC, especially the jumping castle a bit dirty

Food was good - definitely try the nut crusted Brie and the calamari (a bit oily but tasty)

Good place to soak up sun, eat pizza and let the kids run crazy!!

Went for a beer tasting and light lunch. Service fast, food good although a burger served with a baked potato seemed a little odd. Lasagna excellent. They could do a little more when presenting the beer tasters, like explaining each beer and how the tasting should be done instead of just putting 4 tasting glasses in front of you and walking away.

Beautiful relaxed setting. Will definitely return with the kids.

We went with friends to the Wild Clover for a Sunday lunch after visiting the nearby Giraffe park. The kids play area seems to need a bit of work and refresh though.

We called the number on the Zomato listing and made our booking but only to be told when we go there they had no idea of the booking!

The restaurant offers a couple of options for food but most of us went for the pizzas which were pretty good. Everyone seemed happy with there food and despite reading some of the other reviews the service, it was ok for this type of restaurant/bistro

All in all a decent day out and reasonable prices!

Super family space out in the winelands! Kids can roam the spacious play area whilst family and friends enjoy decent flavoured food and wine! Chilling and pocket friendly! The beer tasting area also a hit for chilling and cooling down with a couple of craft tastings!

Service was pathetic. The menu seemed very promising, but after waiting 30mins, only to receive ice cold coffees and not having our meal order taken yet, we left.
Cathy Hoogenhout
Nice atmosphere. Place is great for kids. ..but service is very slow and pizza was sad with the wilted rocket...and not enough topping...wont come again

Great place for kids...lots of space to run! Food took forever but we ordered salads which were enormous. Only gripe...very very slow service.

Beer tasting is fantastic - you must try this. Restaurant was OK, not great but not terrible. Food was nicely presented but a little bit oily and you could tell it all comes from a packet in the freezer. All in all, a decent spot.

So today we thought to try out wild clover restaurant. Nice big space for kids to play BUT.... WORST service ever. Everything took ages and our waiter did not smile once!! She never came to apologise for delays nor the manager. We waited about 15min for someone to bring menu's. Then i order a pizza with caramelised onion. I got a pizza with onion that was quickly fried in oil. Sent it back, then it can back with the same onion just quickly fried with balsamic vinegar.. pizza was tasteless with burnt balsamic onion. Will not go back again.

We spent some time at the Wild Clover Farm and it was so much fun – Saturday was all about the beer tasting, eating and chilling and Sunday kicked off with a good ol’ fry up, followed by a game drive. We were lucky enough to have both dinner and breakfast at the Eatery and both were awesome.

Early dinner was full of good vibes. The rugby game was on the big screen, there was a group of guys on a bachelor party, there were a couple of tables of friends and family – all drinking and eating and being very merry. We were instantly relaxed and in the mood for a delicious and fun evening. The Eatery boasts a variety of meals. Country pub style dishes that are fresh, tasty and won’t break the bank. We shared a crispy feta and garlic pizza bread to start and for mains lop had the gourmet burger and chips and I had the pork ribs with salad. My ribs were sticky-fall-off-the-bone perfection. We weren’t going to have any dessert because we were so full but apparently a visit to The Eatery is not complete without a taste of their crème brulee. Top marks for food, service, vibe and location.

Breakfast the next morning was less busy and completely chilled. Any day that starts with good coffee and a fry up is sure to be a cracker of a day.

Definitely a place that the kids would enjoy. I was initially concerned about flies, but thankfully they stayed near the horses. We had a large table for breakfast and unfortunately there was only 1 waiter for a table of about 16 people. The did took a while and the breakfast portions weren't very filing. My wife and I had pasta though and that was delicious. Service was a little slow, but that could be because of the big table. The waiter also forgot a few orders. Room for improvement
